Well he had glandular fever and only come back about 1 1/2 months ago, and from all reports his attack on the ball / man has been nothing short of brilliant.

I understand what your saying, but if you've ever had glandular, you'll know that your not the same for the following 6-8 months or even more.

I havent no, but what I dont like is people proclaiming players like mad before they have even seen anything (Travis cloke being a perfect case in point) The step up to AFL level is massive and many players cant take that step, especially big men, they need a lot of time.

Attack on the ball/man is commendable, but is he winning it? Is he taking the grabs or holding down KP? Dont get me wrong, hope that he is/does but havent seen anything yet.

I know that the wraps on him were very big when he joined us. Many people thought that we got a steal. Big guys take longer to develop to so lets not knife him before giving him a chance. Maxwells a great example, the pies gave him plenty of time to develop and now might be seeing the reward.

Clement has a lifetime to serve before he goes. (Maxwell is in our best 22 though)
