A top 10 draft pick for a player not in a sides best 22? I really rate the kid highly, have seen a fair bit of him but i think its a bit to much to give. AFL clubs i feel would be the same way. As good as he looks he doesnt have the 'star' runs on the board yet to give a top 10 pick away. I would give our 2nd rounder and maybe something like our 3rd rounder for their 3rd rounder.

On draft day it would be good to see-

1st selection- One of Rioli, Morton, Ebert, Masten, Henderson ect.
2nd selection- Acquire Prismall
3rd selection- Darcy Daniher

Right now we dont no what pick were really looking at it could be as high as 5 and it seems this year that the top 10 could go any a million different ways. Will be interesting to see how this situation shapes later on in the year.

Would have been good if they played Richmond again like in round 1. I hope they have another win against some unexpected team now, i couldnt stand their supporters talking about the rich bunch of talent they are assmembling and how its the strongest raw talent in the AFL. Apologies to the normal ones but some are shockers on bigfooty.

I would been to keen on giving away that pick for Prismall, i'd rather do a deal like King James mentioned before:

Our 2nd rounder and our 3rd rounder for their 3rd rounder and Prismall.

But it isnt a deal that geelong would accept. I feel that the deal would have to be excellent for the cats for us to consider trading away an extremely promising young player who we have put 3 years of development into.
 
This was mentioned on the Geelong board.

Tonycam is right i know you guys would WANT a 1st round pick, but if he chooses to leave, you'll have to take what you are offered otherwise he could leave and you'll get nothing for him.

As long as the Blues dont win ;)
Second round will be interesting. If Carlton stay on four wins and the Tigers and Demons continue losing there will be three priority picks after the first round.

I hope they are not looking at taking Henderson first round.Im not even sure if Henderson will end up as a ruckman in the AFL.
Out of they players i have seen i really hope that They are looking at one of Masten , Morton, Rioli or Palmer fisrt. We simply need to take a good midfielder with our first pick.I know Cotchin didnt have a great Champ series but im sure he will bounce back too and would be a good early pick up.
Another bloke who impressed me in the three games i saw of him in the Champs was Collier. He has been pegged as a KP defender becasue of his good work at CHB but he is eaqually as good in the midfield. Played as a R/R and won plenty of the ball and used it well. At 192cm i think he can be a seriously good running half /back slah midfielder. Not sure if he would drop as far as our number 2 pick (with the priority picks around) but if it was a choice between him and Danhier at number 2 .The reason i say Daniher at number two is i think he may have done enough to see clubs bid second round picks for him. Hoepfully i am wrong and the thrid rounder is good enough
 
you would have to give up a first round pick for prismall. Put it this way, would you prefer a Masten or Ebert from the draft or Brent Prismall. Hes only 21 with great football ability and skills

Seriously think about what you have just said. We would have to give up a number one pick for a guy who cant get into the best 22 .

Prismall has shown that he can play at AFL level.

Any draftee, top 10 or not haven't shown anything. Just look at Tambling..... was hailed as a superstar but looks like being a so so player.

If we could get this deal - our first pick (6-10) for Prismall + Geelongs first (17?) we'd be crazy not to take it.

We give them the opportunity of a high pick in a successful year and we get the midfielder we need plus a late'ish first round pick so we can maybe snag someone.

Win - Win.

Well getting Prismall and a later first round pick is different to giving up our first rounder for Prismall only.
 
geelong wont do that because however we draft with that pick will only have as much potential as prismall, id prefer prismalls potential and what hes shown more than the potentil of masten or ebert etc... and with a latish first round pick we can still take a good player like collier hopefully
