Oh well i just can't beat that. You've just convinced me his a star
Leave your player infatuations in your sticky used up tissues and look more objectively at the individual.
He hasn't played an outside role this year. It seems that stigma is a easier way to judge rather than actually watching.

So by your theory, jobe Watson is always under every pack?
Of course he will be on the outside of packs still. You can only judge him on his performances, and his recent has been good!
But don't let facts cloud your preconcieved opinions! Lol

He played outside under knights and i believe that's how he is still playing.
He may have been instructed otherwise, but too often do i see him outside the packs waiting for the hand off.
And i'm sorry but imo his just not that good! Not in our top 22, and imo will be a reserve mid!
Would love to say otherwise, truly, and hopefully he can prove me wrong this wknd.
Where did I mention that he was a star or otherwise? I merely commented on his position. If I told you Raph Clarke was a half back flank, that wouldn't mean he's a star.
He played outside under Knights, but he has never, ever considered himself an outside midfielder, and Hirdy, Bomber and Goodwin know that and are playing him as an inside midfielder.

Isn't in our best 22 Kelvin, not by a long way!
No worries.
I agree that he's not in our best midfielders at the moment, but he's got a chance with Jobe and Myers out for a couple more as well as Lonergan for the year. Hopefully he takes it and gives the coaches headaches come delisting time.
We're not that good.
I hear you on this, yet i don't see him getting in and under, nor feel he plays this role effectively, even if it is his ideal role, which i agree it is.
Essentially i think his not amongst our best midfielders, though time will tell.

Like you have said he is not the best amongst our midfielders and i do not think time will tell but as a few others have said he has been playing inside mid all year for Bendigo.
However in his senior games he has not always started as an inside mid as the question going through my mind in his first few games back in the side was why a bloke who was starting as first rover every week for Bendigo was starting on the wing in the seniors.
This is more than likely why one would question what his role is in the Essendon side.![]()

Well there you have it the Bigfooty Jesus, sorry ant555 has spoken
Thanks for clearing that up![]()
Take time to read the Bendigo reports - the reports are usually accurate.
Where can i do that?
Check the threads named bendigo - There is always at least one comprehensive report.
Watched Bendigo play their first 6 games - And Prismall played as an inside midfielder - And was in for most centre clearances - Think in the past that he has played as more of a linking player.
Sweet, thanks!
Have looked on the EFC website previously and it offers very little info.

The sad thing is, even if its not entirely thier fault, watch the roast threads come up for all of these players if we lose tomorrow night!
