Definitely not. He's a bit of an Ackland Mk2. :)
Mate hes not that bad lol. I would think Woosha will try and offload him at the end of the yr but to be honest i would only give a late 3rd round pick for him.
So for WC i dont think its worth offloading him if thats all we will get.

3rd round pick for Staker! lol. Stake is PSD pick 2-3 quality. having said that the Tiges would probably give you an early 2nd round pick for Staker, if Miller is still around. :)

No, no and no.

He is not what we need. Not good enough. Like Parrot said, it'd be like having another Ackland all over again.

A bit harsh guys. Yeah, maybe a thirdie. You'd consider players from other clubs if they've got POTENTIAL. Staker has alot of that but is far too inconsistent for my liking. Consider though.

nah carlton will jump at him , your foward line is hopeless without fev.
i cant see any team offering a 2nd rounder & only the blues would even consider him.
has to be better than ackland.

I would consider him...At 195cm, he has good endurance and pace, hard to match-up on for opposition teams. Can be quite dangerous when hes on. And is only 24.

No, what I'm saying is that Staker is better than Ackland. Much better. It might be something to do with the fact that I post quite alot of sarcastic or humourous posts that you might have thought that, so I'll excuse you for thinking that you may have thought that what I was trying to say was that Ackland is better.

Staker has the slowest football brain in the AFL. :)
give him a break! Barry turned it all into mush...

on the topic i would look at Staker but wouldn't give anything above a 3rd rounder. Maybe Kerr and Staker for Ackland (you can only dream:p)

Maybe, but i'd prefer looking at a couple of his team mates in McKinley and Hansen.
McKinley Yes, Hansen No

Hansen is a lead up player, plus he is very injury prone, we already have Hartlett. McKinley on the other hand would be very handy but he wouldn't come cheap.

Does he use any of his 195cm at all? Has he ever been a strong marking tall or is he just a flighty player without any real ability living off being taller than he actually plays?

KEPLER BRADLEY. Tall but no good.

Very useful bench player or if you're really good, you'd have him as a height mismatch to get the 4th defender. A team like North would be good for him, but not Carlton who are still embarking on the rebuild. Richmond dont need him as they have more options across the forward line thatn we do.

To me he is another one of those fisher type 3rd talls, and with fisher, a resting ruckman, edwards, we are ok in that position. IMO we need a dominating CHF. Hi Josh, when u coming home? :)

Instead of Staker why dont we trial a kid playing for Tasmania in the VFL Tom Langford, i've seen the kid play he looks to offer alot has a great engine on him.

Wouldn't look at him unless we got him for barely anything. I liken him to a taller Fisher who can only play out of the goal score - lacks the presence that we need out of a second forward, who could steal some of the supply away from Fev.

Edit: Basically what rolandinho wrote.

dont think so. we just need a big solid muthafudger. Someone that can take a grab and kill anyone standing in his way. Barry hall style. Please let the planets align so harts can play the rest of the season and we can see if he can become this sort of player.

Worst footballer in the league (equal with Shannon Byrnes)

The blues would have to be insane to give him a second chance, he's an absolute shocker!
