Do us all a favour and use them both on yourself.

Very hard to split the two, maybe Stanton just currently but i still think Thomas can step up and play a midfield role and improve his consistency in the upcoming seasons.

Dale Thomas.

RIG I read everyone of your posts because you always hit the mark but I don't understand how you can even compare a midfielder who gets a hard tag every week consistently racking up good numbers against a flashy forward who still doesn't have the aerobic capacity to play in the middle.

Thomas can turn a game in a matter of minutes. Despite my dislike for him he's a very talented player who could star if he ever got the engine. I'm not a big fan of Stanton's as I don't think he does enough team work so my selection is just to get him out of the side

See what you want to see I guess, but that's a really ignorant comment.

I know your mob are always on holiday in September so I can forgive you for not noticing, but let me remind you that Thomas stepped up and kicked the goal that put us in front with 2 minutes left in the 2007 2nd semi against W.C.

Then when it went to extra time, Thomas was instrumental in our victory. He threw himself under packs with reckless abandon, and went on two 70 metre runs. He was leaving opponents in his wake right up until the final siren that night. Along with Didak, I credit his performance that night with our win.

Yeah but Thomas is more of a forward, Stanton is a midfielder so its pointless comparing stats.




FWIW until Dale Thomas can move into the middle can rack up some consistent performances then he is nowhere near Stanton and will be continue to be known as a flashy forward.

Huh?? You dismiss the stats I posted then make a statement about the point I was making in posting them!! If Thomas had the engine he would be playing in the middle. He doesn't so Stanton is ahead IMHO.
