You remember that Giod Coast match huh ... That was appalling .. Falling over in the centre square with no pressure .. Cost them the match

Ok so youre basing your whole view on him off one play? Im not even entirely sure which play youre referring to tbh.

Weve beaten you 3 of the last 4 meetings isnt it? I think thats decent consistency against your mob. You gonna gloss over the fact that lids was the match-winner last season "huh"? 3 goals in the first quarter set us up beautifully, and then kicked one of the sealers later on.

He's not soft. It's also interesting that you say he's not a matchwinner, have a look at Richmond's record without him. If he doesn't play, we rarely win.

Hawthorn are due for a win against us, and quite frankly are far too good of a team to not bounce back and beat us. We play twice though, so I could still see us splitting the games 1-1.

100% agree, players shouldn't be judged on just one play - But I've seen him do it a few times in big moments.
Not for one moment questioning his skill, he is silky-smooth - I just think he lacks grunt when it matters - only one persons' opinion

Yep ... You boys have the wood on us at the moment, doesn't so much bother me ... Tiges are my 2nd team, much rather lose to yous than the Cats or Cola's

As mentioned in my other post ... Wouldn't bother me dropping a game to the Tiges, they are my 2nd team!
... Lucky enough to meet Rancey at the airport with my kids ... He took photos will all them, absolute champion bloke ... Must be proud having him at the club!!

PS - Still not 100% on Lids effort at times ... But his skills are up there with Shaun Burgoyne ... Silky-smooth

I don't think it's really that close at all. Gray's a fair bit better at this point. He's kicked almost 70 goals in the last two seasons as a clearance winning mid.

He's an out and out star, one of the best mids in the comp, wouldn't rank far behind Fyfe/Ablett/Danger/Pendles etc IMO. Lids is nowhere near those guys.

Deledio is a bit underrated but Gray comfortably.

Gray would be about the 15th best player in the competition. Deledio would be around the 25 mark. Both guns though.

Rate both highly. They are both so dangerous when in full flight but if I had a choice between the two I'd go with Gray for his consistency.

No doubt thats how I see it. Deledio better over longer, Grays best and recent form the better of the two.
