I think you ppl are being a bit harsh on Brett Lee. Ok he has been a bit out of control lately but i don't think he is as bad as u are making out. Sure he's not in the same category as Warne or McGragh but don't u think he would have a spot in every other cricket side in the world??

That's bull**** Flying Egg, Shoaib Aktar has only once been called for throwing, and that was on a tour to New Zealand (as well as Brett Lee), he (Aktar) was never called in Australia for throwing, that was all paper talk and you have obvoiusly fallen for it, and anyway, you can't have your arm compleatly straight when you're bowling, so it's all up to interpretation.

Shoaib Aktar and Brett Lee are exciting bowlers who can really turn it on when they're on their game (which Brett isn't at the moment), as well as Harbhajan Singh, the only absolute thrower that's still playing the game is Muttaya Muralitharan, everyone else has been unfairly victimised

Bloodstained Angel there is a reason that Binger lookes like he throughs the ball as he is bowling, a few years ago he broke his arm and it didnt heal correctly, the cartliage/musle grew inbetween the two bones or were the break was in one of his bones.

Totally agreed with you HahnPremium8, they (media and general public) are being to harsh on Binger. They will be proud of his efforts if he playes about 2 test match games in a row and gets a heap of wickets in both tests.

I love Binger Lee. He will always be a Champion in my eyes :)

Ahktar says something like that too. I don't think the injury makes it look like he is throwing, I think he is throwing. If it is coz of the injury thats bad luck but he should still be called

WHAT THE?? according to you, he broke his arm and now the way he is bowling looks like he is throwing (with bent arm). How can that be??? how can a broken arm make it look like a bent elbow??
Only reason i can suggest is that he is double jointed in the elbow, there for his elbow looks strange. BUT i find this a load of bull****, whenever u put together a bowler and throwing you automatically assume! that he/she has had prior damage happen to his arm/elbow. Well, i have not heard that Brett Lee injured his arm when he was a child so i think its only a lame excuse..

btw i dont think Brett Lee chucks, just hate bull****!

Hate to defend him here but he has had damage to his elbow both as a kid and a player i have heard about it many a time.

Drop Him!!! Drop him now!! he is no good as a bowler, and thats what we need a BOWLER!

He aint the same as he was when he first started.
Reasons? well..

1. He is trying to bowl too fast at the moment, no control.
2. He thinks his pace his unplayable, always going for the stumps.
3. Not bowling line and length and not making the batsmen play outside off stump.
4. Too many lose wide balls.
5. Too many lose short deliverys which are wasted.
6. Needs to go back to state cricket and go back to basics.
7. Too expensive, going for 4.5 - 5.2 runs per over in TEST LEVEL!
8. WAYYY to many no balls! bowled 40+ in 4 tests.

Pros.

1. He can bat well as a number 9.
2. Strong out fielder.

thats it.

he needs to go back to state cricket and perform! needs to go back to basics and bowl line and length and keep it controlled and consistent. You see the strain on his face every time he bowls, thats just evidence that he's trying too hard!

so if i was a selector, Brett Lee would be on the out, and i would bring in a new Pace Bowler, or Stuart MacGill.

I agree completely. He needs to be dropped so he can get his act together and come back a more mature bowler.
Bichel was unlucky to be dropped.

He has really gotten better over recent times.
He has taken the most wickets for a fast bowler this summer.
He today bowled one of the best overs i have seen of fast bowling(admittedly i am only 16), the over before lunch i think it was.
Definately should not be dropped.
He aint no chucker either:mad:
