Brett O'Hara
Details:
Club: Eagles
Age: 22 Hgt: 194cm Wgt: 101kg
Position: Ruck
Natural Foot: Right
Strengths: Brett is a talented ruckman who has been lauded my most improved player in the SANFL. He is moving along the same path as Dean Brogan who also developed late. His ability to feed to ball to his runners is excellent and brings teammates into the game with his strong marks.
Brett has a very good leap an can take a strong mark. Dominates the hitouts and is rarely beaten at the centre bounces when on song. Has a wiry body that doesnt look as big as he really and works well around the ground and can slip forward and stretch defenders.
Weaknesses: Age is not on his side, is 22 turning 23. Prefers to dish off a handball to a running player behind rather than kick himself and occasionally foot skills can let him down. Possible lack of confidence. Can have many off days around the ground often only accumulating a few possessions. Question mark over his height.
Footydraft.com comment: Would be worth a pick late in the draft for a club who needs to boost their rucking stocks.
Anyone know anything more about him, seen him play or anything.
