Plenty of people have displayed interest regarding Prisa on this board and the general consensus is NO CHANCE IN HELL!

Gun goal kicking mid with unbelievable foot skills. If he were to be traded Geelong would want nothing less than a first round pick (early) or a late one and a fringe player.

Brent Prismall is one of the unluckiest players going around! Would be in the starting 22 of prob 10 other clubs this year! Has fantastic work rate, really smart football brain and excellent skills. Showed a bit early in the season before injuring himself and playing out the year in the two's. Deserves more game time but prob wont find it at the cats!

Might ask for a trade but it would be unfortunate! Having rising stars like Selwood doing what he did in his first year hasnt helped either, as he is now ahead of prismall, with both playing similar roles:thumbsu:

We have been incredibaly lucky with injuries this year. The law of averages demands that he'll be given his chance through form or injury soon enough.

Would be shattered to see him go as I firmly believe he should be in our best 22.

I agree Prissa will be very good player. But if everyone was fit who would drop out to squeeze him into the team?
That's the question isn't it, undoubtedly a good player but it's going to be hard to squeeze into that midfield.
Someone has to make way for Egan and I guess that would probably be Byrnes so where exactly does Prismall fit in, think he may only get a game if we cop an injury or two.

Depth is important to any football club. The ability to replace injured players and players in poor form should not be underestimated.

there is no point hoarding talent for the sake of it

Prissa is a gun. Will be in our 22 Next year. Won't go anywhere
in front of whom? Bartel? Ablett? Ling? Corey? Rooke? Hunt? Selwood? Chapman? Milburn? Enright?

again, there is no point hoarding talent if you can't use it

he is not a gun, just a player with 'potential'

crap... prismall is too slow to play that role... 'd'jerka, varcoe or byrnes will play that role

I only just realised this thread was "Brett" Prismall, bit slow.

I reckon if he stays at Geelong next year we'll give him a run in some pre-season games and see how he goes, he still has wrist/arm problems I believe.
If he's fine and plays well I can easily see Shannon getting dropped for him, not a direct swap though, we'd have to rotate him in/out of the midfield I guess.

Hey guys, congrats on the excellent year that just passed. It was a pleasure to watch Geelong go about it, and I could no have been happier when you guys won the flag. Also kinda developed a man love for Joel Selwood haha. But back to the topic.

With Essendon expressing interest in Brent what do you feel is an appropriate deal? I have gave it a little thought, and would give away our pick 23. If geelong dont see that as enough how about essendon try and trade pick 23 and Mark Johnson to Port for pick 16. Port have expressed interest in MJ for a while and the rumour has speculated their interested again. I feel he would fit in great at Essendon, and would be a class pick up. I know Geelong fans rate Brent highly and understandably so.

How would you feel about that deal being made though?

If and it's a very big if,he wanted to go pick 16 would do the job.
