Ratten and Camp-o-re-aleeeeeee are in the same league.

Interesting to see the bomber players try to take out Compo a couple of times. Reminded me of Barnes and Johnson when essendon had their last lost against the bulldogs.
Hmmmmmmmmmm.

they're both FANTASTIC players and i'm glad we got 'em
both played great games and almost always do
Rattens a great player every week and always makes makes a noticable difference while campo does the little things, if someones in trouble- handball to campo- he'll do something good with it always
you only really notice him if he kicks a whole lot of goals- 3 last night- or if we lose coz he always stands out among the best of our rivals

Makes Robert Walls look like a clown for putting him 33rd in the league - couldn't believe that - from an ex Carlton player too.

Sheahan wasn't much better putting him at 18.

I promise you I am unbiased in saying he is the best midfielder in the comp.

Have to agree with you Blues2001. Ratten is the best midfielder in the League. Camporeale doesn't go close...from an outsiders point of view. I would have Ratten in my side in a second. He is a true star with every attribute you you want form a hard at it midfielder.

Cheers, ArdenSt

Hmmm, yes, harder. Both have won b & f`s,but one of Rattens was in a premiership year,a true sign of a gun, while figgys have been in "fantastic" years for c/wood.

JtD - you had to think about that one. I think comparison's should be left alone at this point. Both are extremely gifted in their own right. The difference between the two is that Ratten goes in and get's the ball more often than he receives it, and Buckley receives the ball more than he goes in and get's it. So would I be correct in assuming that you consider the "in and under" style of play more valuable from a team perspective rather than those players often referred to as "the go to player" ?

As Cornelia says "you are correct"....would have them both at Essendon though.
