Brett Ratten play Waite at CHF and when Kreuzer gets back play him up forward also. A forward line of

Betts, Fev, Fisher

Kreuzer, Waite Edwards is pretty good.

Thursday night was joke our only target was Fev. We won't win many games like this. Jarrod Waite is not a CHB. If Waite played at CHF on thurs night we might have won the game. Get your match ups right or else there will be another Num 1 pick and PP for Carlton in 08

I too like Waite forward but unfortunately I think we need his experience and athleticism down back.

If Carlos can hold down a key position down back then it could release Waite forward but it depends on the oppositions forward line.

I'd like to see Carlos and T-Bird used as our key defenders, Jamo as a third defender and Scotland and Bower used as our rebounding defenders. If this works to our advantage, Waite could then go forward.

Against the Saints I think we will need Waite down back.

Agreed. Waite has proven a handy match up on Reiwoldt and I fear we may pay on Saturday night if he does not start there.

Once the ball hits the ground in that forward line we might be in a bit of trouble. Chuck Murph on a forward flank in place of Edwards and have Houlihan running around about 40 m out from goal and it looks even better in my opinion.

Leave it be for now, Waite will play on Reevolting

Fisher up forward is another option coming back in, then you've got Cloke who can pinch-hit this week as Hampson will play in the ruck, it looks a lot better, unfortunately, Edwards might miss out, as Kreuzer plays forward too

waite is more important up forward
we cant win games if we dont kick goals
we can stretch oppositions defence if we have
fisher fev kreuzer and waite all up forward

I dig that the most, brother. :thumbsu:

yeh haha
they are both amazing jumps for their size
but where are we going wif this fact?
Hampson obviously in the ruck which will release Cloke to pinch hit in the forward line a bit more and Waite up forward with his leap is an asset expanding our options and making us less predictable , throw in the return of Fisher (hopefully this week) and our forward line regains some much needed height and potency . Hampson could drop back to help cut of opposition supply and also sneak forward to offer assistance .

everything you say is true
and i love waite and hammer
but i ment where did he come out wif that fact from lol
it was very random

Apparently it's the best at the club.

Youtube-Dwight Howard. Possibly the most atheletic big man alive. Huge vert
Youtube-Allen Iverson. 44 inch vert for a 5-11 man. That's jumping 2 thirds of his height.

My point is......KIDNAP DWIGHT HOWARD AND MAKE HIM RUCKMAN.

Nah actually my point is basketballers don't just naturally have big verts, its something that can be worked at, and just so happends to be adressed in basketball. Also, the exercise that improves your vert also increases your all round explosiveness (i.e accelleration). I think this needs to become more of an area of focus at the club. If everyone at the club had the abililties of Hammer and Waite we'd be destroying everyone in the air and on the break. A Carlton that can run a little faster and jump a little higher.

Why not play Setanta at FB and Hartlett at CHB. I just don't understand the logic of Waite down Back. Jarrod is a player capable of kicking between 35 - 50 goals a year.
