UK Brexit - The UK referendum on leaving the EU - Pt 2: Johnson's Folly

Can't help but laugh that a candidate for London mayor Laurence Fox, endorsed by Nigel Farage, and running on an "anti-woke" platform is polling at 1% despite having his new party bankrolled to tune of £5M. He's polling level with a person called Count Binface whose platform seems to be a mix of science fiction and fixing the traffic.

You can barely walk more than 100 metres in London within seeing something to do with Fox stuck onto a lamp post or whatever else. There's also the intense online campaign being run by Brian Rose. Both these guys are bottom dwellers. It did give me a little smirk when I saw their polling numbers.

Well well old chaps!
Haven't checked in a while old boys but I trust the invasion of France is going swimmingly?

Can’t work out what’s worse - the fact they are sending in gunboats or that tons of right wing nutters will be absolutely spaffing their pants in delight that this is happening

China? America.?

Australia isn’t in the eu mate..

there was life before the Eu.. the Eu is on its last legs
So england are going to create new markets having locked themselves out of their old markets?

All the businesses that have left england for the mainland will be compensated for by…..???

The Eu is on its last legs

Lol. Yeah nah.

The UK is however. Within a few years Scotland leaves. Northern Ireland wont be far behind. Both rejoin the EU when it happens.

Leaving a tiny little half island of the English, literally surrounded by people that dont like them very much.

Once they had an Empire than spanned the globe. Watching them tear themselves apart into irrelevance has been glorious.

I wouldn't be surprised if Boz resigned rather than being the PM that lost the Union.

If he lost a heap - and i mean an absolute fuqtonne - of weight, he might be useful as a mop?
He’d find a way to * it up and still find a way to get promoted to steam cleaning franchise.

Speaking of the Scots:

Scotland's election results are in, and it could be a nightmare come true for Boris Johnson - ABC News

There's no doubt Sturgeon will have the parliamentary support she needs to push for an independence referendum.

If not in the next two years, at least during her next term.

"It is the will of the country," Sturgeon declared while claiming victory.

"Both the SNP and the Scottish Greens stood on a clear commitment to an independence referendum within the next parliamentary term."

By 2025, Scotland will have left the Union, and re-joined the EU, taking 150 Billion Quid out of UK coffers annually (by GDP), and most of the North Sea oil with it.

The UK will soon be a historical footnote along with the Union Jack. Around about the same time Charles becomes King, we'll have the flag of St George flying above Buckingham palace, and the new nation of 'England' reduced to a population of 55 million, surrounded by people that dont like them very much.

Oh England. You utter ******* idiots.

Why don’t they like them? Lol that’s baby talk

and Want to be occupied by the Eu? That’s funny.. you sound like an Eu nationalist now

Leave the decision to the people of scotland whether they want to join the EU or not? how difficult is that to understand. The vote will decide that. At the moment the little Englanders don't wish grant Scotland the right to vote, yeah democracy....you know, that thing UK complained about EU doesn't allow them .

The EU was formed for the mutual economic benefit of all the members. Making Europe a 450 million person strong economy.

More particularly the hope for the EU was that it would counter some of the nationalist tendencies which had heavily contributed to the 2 worst wars in human history.

But if England sees that getting back control over the labelling of the English sausage is more important, then so be it. ;)
