It's not the nicknames that I find irritating, although he tends to repeat them ad infinitum. No, it's all the "wowee, oh boy" crap, 500 times a game, that kills me.

Still, Richards had more talent for creation than BT. I mean, "big boy McEvoy" is no "flying doormat" - a personal favorite of mine.

Difference is Lou seems like a genuine bloke who loves footy and had a way with words whereas BT is a Karmichael Hunt

I'm not surprised. It was a big night for the club and BT continually harping on about a minor technical issue and a couple of flickering lights was ridiculous

He's just become a massive pain in the arse with his stupid commentary.He use to be good,now he's the worst commentator around [yes worse than Ham & Basil on a saturday arvo]

They've been complaining for month. They've played on Saturday nights about 5 times and he's commentated and ruined every game.
 
I'm really looking forward to the day we can have footy commentators back and get rid of these ****wit wrestling commentators we're stuck with.

Well past his used by date, at least Rex walked away from the big stage when his time was up. Apart from his constant poor attempts at humour, he get names wrong, and seems to think he has to barrack for the underdog each week.

The cats did complain, as well as the Twitter outrage by fans.

Nonetheless - that's at least two clubs that have formally complained about him (Adelaide being the other when he denigrated Ricky Henderson in round 2). How many more complaints will it take from the actual clubs for 7 to take action against him.

I actually thought his "evacuate due to health and safety concerns" line was quite amusing, and I am usually moved to violence by listening to a BT call.

However, to recycle a quote from BF awhile back: There is nothing worse than having BT call a game where your side is losing.
I lived that in last year's Elim final :eek:

He'll need to make a half-racist comment or say that Collingwood isn't the super-duperest club in the whole entire universe.

Analogue TV has now been switched off. This means that every home in Australia now had digital TV or nothing. Can Channel 7 perhaps provide two audio streams - one with BT, and the other that doesn't feature a braying d*ckhead screaming and ranting about random crap and ruining the game?
