Innocent Bystander said:Tony has a show on Sunday Night/ Monday mornings and Thursday/Friday at midnight called the Gladiators of Sport. They play the theme song to Gladiators on it. Without doubt this is the best program on SEN.
I've also heard but this would have to be confirmed by someone in the know, that the reason Gladiators was cancelled was that most of the Gladiators were on Steriods and other drugs due to the hectic tv schedule.

What about the travellator? and how sweet was the international Gladiators travellator? how quick was that?
Who were the other gladiators? What were some of the games? And who else wants to see Mike Whitney back where he belongs refereeing Gladiators?
Some of the games I remember,
the one where they had the sticks and fought with the Gladiator on the ledges, the monkey bars where you had to swing across to the other side, the pyramid where you had to run up it past the gladiator, the ball game where you had to get as many balls into the buckets past the gladiators....
What else was there?
Xtreme said:My old primary school had a ramp that was just like the travellator, only it didn't move BUT it was that steep enough that if you didn't run all the way up, you'd tumble back down..... good times![]()

Like a true stats man, I used to keep track of the details of the shows.![]()
I've still got some of those books, and from them, these are some of the events:
Hang Tough
Joust
Gauntlet
Pyramid
Powerball
Suspension Bridge
Swingshot
The Wall
spell_check said:To be honest, I can't remember swingshot either; that's what I had written down.
Pyramid had both challengers go up at the same time, there were three gladiators trying to stop them.
Joust was with the horses. Duel was on the big platforms.Nip/Tuck said:Good stuff![]()
Now,
Hang Tough, was swinging across from ledge to the other getting past the gladiator.
Joust, was that the thing with the sticks where they hit each other and the challenger had to stay on the ledge?
The wall, that was where you had to climb up the wall and get away from the gladiator who started climbing a short time after.
Swingshot?
Suspension bridge? Didn't they have to run across a bridge while the gladiators tried to hit them?
Powerball, they had to get balls into buckets as the gladiators tried to stop them.
Pyramid, they had to run up the pyramid past the gladiator.
Gauntlet? I'm not sure.

Hell yeah. That was **** hot.Jeffers1984 said:I can't believe i may of remembered this but i think it was called 'Atlasphere' or something.
Haha we did the same thing in primary school. One of our "events" was the gauntlet where we had to run between 2 BRICK WALLS lol and trying to squeez past some kids. Oh them the days.Squeak said:Similarly, we had a playground setting with a slide attached to it, allowing us to create our own eliminator complete with travellator finale. It would've been quite weird to see grade 6 kids dominating the playground while the preps had to find some other way to amuse themselves at lunchtime.
