Merry christmas to all my fellow tigers!

I like all tiges fans am looking forward to 05. After a disappointing season and some long overdue overhaul of the list, I am looking forward to the season ahead. Goodbye mr frawley,goodbye to the duds that he bought to the club and hello to the new kids - am really looking forward to seeing deledio and tambling in action. Terry Wallace should be congratulated by the way he quickly delisted the duds and had the emphasis on the youth which is THE FUTURE of our great club. Hopefully kids like Hartigan,Roach,Raines,Moore and Jackson will be given the chance to develop into the top class players they will be. I am especially looking forward to a better season from Richo now that he is gonna be played UP THE GROUND (Danny you should have done this 5 YEARS AGO).

Mark Coughlan for captain - Nathan Brown would be too obvious especially with Terry's appointment. Care to share any ideas as two who you think should captain Richmond?

I think Sugar is a MONTY for the captaincy.

Been there a couple of years now, gets his hands dirty, has premiership success, is a lifelong Tigers supporter, and has several years to go. Plays like a leader too. Although not visually vocal, he is a leader at the club and has the respect from the younger players.

I agree with the rest of your post as well. Good to see the dead wood being thrown out of the club.

Welcome TigerChick - you pretty much echo everything I think - so you must be a good judge lol.

Haven't got a clue on captaincy, but i'd like someone pretty young, and if Cogs had stayed injury free last year, i would have said him. But not knowing whether he will be on the field and whether he will play as consistently and well, as he did in 2003, too risky to give the job to him.

So, i suppose Johnson or Brown for me. Be happy with either.

Yep, can't wait for it to all start.

Cogs needs this season to concentrate on being fit and getting back to 2003 form. Browny hasn't been there long enough. Bowden is my no.2, Richo my no.3.
