Scott Pendlebury a technicality to tick off 16. Didn’t play 200 games in it but he was certainly “from” itOff-season trivia - we've never had a 200 gamer from no's #3, #8, #9, #14, #15, #16, #20, #27, #29. #30, #31, #33, #34. It's clear air from #38 onwards.
Only #38, #39, #41, #42, #44, #46 have seen a player run out for 100+ games.

I'm getting excited. I think we're going to surprise the "off a cliff" mob this season with some of our kids stepping up.
The main things I want to see this season:
IN - Josh Daicos to the midfield
OUT - Resting players (excluding 5 day breaks)

With the old age of our veterans and the demands of our game plan, I can see the number of players rested increased. (Shout out to VP.I'm getting excited. I think we're going to surprise the "off a cliff" mob this season with some of our kids stepping up.

)Until Nick Daicos is 45 I’m not writing us off either…I’m not sure why we are being written off so much. We dominated a big chunk of the preliminary final against the eventual premier. We were only 10 points down late in the last and should’ve been under a goal with momentum except for a brain fade.
A lot of our late season poor form was due to players being out of the side and we looked much better when we had the majority of our full side in.
Of the players everyone keeps calling too old, Pendles is still a gun. Sidey contributes pretty consistently and Jeremy Howe is still important.
The other players over 30 are no different to players in oppo sides playing the same roles.
I think we still have plenty to offer and if Jack Buller can take a few marks, Bobby gets back to his best, Dan Houston improves, Charlie West becomes our own Logan Morris, Roan Steele keeps developing and one of the new recruits surprise - I think we can still contend.
We'll be top 4 again. I think we're even stronger this yearI’m not sure why we are being written off so much. We dominated a big chunk of the preliminary final against the eventual premier. The starting point is having Carlton covered and I think that’s a given. We'll be top 4 again. I think we're even stronger this year
.We've got those peanuts coveredThe starting point is having Carlton covered and I think that’s a given.
Then Essendon also highly probable.
Josh Barnes article in the HeraldSun today is an example of the view. He makes great points including early season form. He views the team as not changing the veterans which is just wrong. We have moved away from Checkers, Cox, Mitchell and WHE. Pendles, Sidey and Howe are the remaining veterans. Elliot is the anomaly with his multiple year deal. Barnes article doesn’t raise HH or Steele. This highlights how few games our young players have. We need sugar hits in the midfield. A choice between Rowell and King I could only choose Rowell. That is where our biggest hole is now. A refresh from young players would be huge, it would not take many for it improve the team.I’m not sure why we are being written off so much. We dominated a big chunk of the preliminary final against the eventual premier. We were only 10 points down late in the last and should’ve been under a goal with momentum except for a brain fade.

I've tried over the years but I find it boring. Too many entitled brats playing. They took us to the Australian open in form 5 at school, we lasted an hour before a couple of us took off and went to the cityAhem, doesn't anyone watch tennis?
