Currently in Austria and am a bit of a rum drinker. Have discovered a litre of inlander rum 80% is 7 euro. Now i know you can get 2.25 litres at the airport duty free... But can i bring 2.25l to Australia. Also if so do i need to declare anything coming back?

First time OS so this is all new to me... Google didn't help.

Thanks in advance

Yeah, you can bring 2.25L into the country from overseas, but make sure it's stored in your check in luggage or else it probably won't get through security! The other option is to buy the product duty free overseas which should then pass security as the bags will be sealed by duty free staff.
