Shai Bolton > any on that list as prospects.
Why not also put SPS and SPP as well?

Mitch Duncan's pretty much signed up to be a 1 club player now.

Can we please bring home Justin Longmuir? Has the experience, results to improve our forward structures, scoring pressure.
Yeah I was thinking this the other day.
I know the Eagles have some better talls than us, but they always have an open functioning forward line
I like your thinking but I really don't think the problem with our forward line is the forward coach, I think it's the overall game plan. After all, we've had 4 different forward line coaches in the last 5 years and nothing has changed. The same problems have been there the whole time.
You mean like running into each other, drawing your defender to your teammate to spoil? That's called dumb ass parade..
Spurr is doing that in the backline last week .
Jaeger is now at Hawthorn
Yep, we've had some dumbarse players in our forward line over the years, probably still do, but it's more than that.
The eagles forwards are too happy with their game plan of clearing out and leaving Kennedy to do as he pleases.
Why are you correcting a post from 3 years ago?
Let's go after Bennell then.
SPS and SPP
Here are a few more players we could be looking at. The players in bold are worth a 2nd look.
What are peoples thoughts on Ramsey, Schoenfield and Broad? I have seen a little bit of them, but would like a 2nd opinion.
Brendon Ah Chee (2011 Pick #45) 188cm/84kg - MID - Slow inside mid, questionable skills. Not what we need, but would be a good fit for the eagles.
Jackson Ramsay (2012 Pick #38) 183cm/77kg - DEF - Yes, could the back pocket we need.
Rhys Palmer (2007 Pick# 7) 181cm/82kg - MID - No
Aaron Black (2009 Pick #25) 192cm/88kg - Key Forward - No
Brandon Matera (2010 Prelisted) 175cm/70kg - MID/FWD - Yes, if the price is right. He is a front runner, but would not cost that much.
Josh Schoenfeld (2015 Pick# 34) 186cm/75kg - MID - Yes if cheap, would need to improve to make our 22.
Declan Mountford (2015 Pick# 60) 181cm/75kg - MID - No
Nathan Broad (2015 Pick# 67) 192cm/83kg - DEF - Maybe an ok player across half back. At 192cm's could play as the 3rd or 4th tall.
Nick Robertson (2013 Pick #34) 188cm/90kg - MID - No, not good enough defensively or offensively.
Dennis Armfield (2007 Pick #46) 181cm/81kg - MID - No
Kamdyn McIntosh (2012 Pick #31) 192cm/89kg - Utility -Not sure.
Blaine Boekhorst (2014 Pick #19) 186cm/74kg - MID -No, he butchers the ball.
Mitch McGovern (2014 Pick #43) 191cm/84kg - FWD - Yes he would improve us, but we would probably have to give up to much.
Jarrad Jansen (2013 Pick #36) 192cm/93kg - MID -No
Harrison Marsh (2012 Pick #44) 188cm/82kg - DEF/MID - No
Ideally the players we sign should be good ball users, as I believe this is something we lack.
He seems alright?
I did lol at your Ah Chee comment.
Have you seen Declan Mountford play? What do you like about him?
He has been running with opposition mids in the last couple of weeks. Doesn't seem to affect them massively but gets a bit himself and lays some tackles. I know because he is in my fantasy team and I had him on the bench for his 90 this week, little ****.
I think he will get sent to Walters this week so we will get a good look.
Decent run with player. Gets a bit himself. Seems hard nosed. Coaching staff seem to trust him.
Well said. Has it really been FOUR?
go_the_dockers What a very handy compilation and assessment! Thanks!
So JJ is off our list of wants
$600,000 for 5 years, would have been a very expensive get
For a ball burner yes
If any of our Vic contingent wanted to leave I still think JJ was the best available home coming target. Not to be, and hardly a big issue for us.
