So the Lions arranged for an Essendon supporter to photograph and intentionally leak the whiteboard stuff to deflect and distract from a slur that wouldn't actually take place until a VFL match later that afternoon?

If so, I'm not even mad. I'm impressed at our ability to predict the future.

Although if we do have the Minority Report technology to predict slurs in advance, it would probably be easier to say "hey Koby, make sure you don't say ****** today" instead of concocting a vast cover up scandal for our own club involving supporters of other clubs.

AFL has made rod for its back here. Their bad decisions have come home to roost.

By rights, if guilty he should get the same 6 weeks Collard got... But that'd be more than Collard's 2nd offence.
Bravo AFL :clapping:

Not sure how impressed I am that this is now 2 Eagles NGA products (Evans and Collard) and a trade-in (Graham) that have all done this in the span of a couple years. Very very disappointing. Got to wonder if it is a coincidence or not, if a pattern starts to emerge I'd hope the club can take a long hard look at themselves.

WA 2 hours and 30 years behind.

One has maintained his innocence

One admitted to it

Not the same

Lance got 6 when he admitted fault a couple of years ago h think it was excessive then

Let’s not throw the book at a young kid although I think the afl will be wanting blood

Gee how dumb do you have to be, after the recent attention to this stuff.

We got a ways to go unfortunately.

At least he owned up to it I guess.

Because he's a nobody, he will get the biggest ban to date... maybe a lifetime ban lmao

The AFL loves to use unknown pawns as examples to show they 'mean business'. Star player or players of a specific heritage get the watered down treatment.

Specific heritage? What do you mean by that?

This kid is indigenous

This is the official afl guidelines to domestic league football for instances of verbal abuse
What guidelines does this kid fall under here ?

I know, it's incredible. But there's a reason your mob is a chance of a repeat threepeat. Always one step ahead.

Apparently he self-reported and then apologised.

Disappointed it happened, but should be on the low end of the range and shows good character in response to making a mistake.

One admitted and will accept the punishment, the other chucked a tantrum until they got what he wanted.

Or maybe its because 1 did it in primetime against Collingwood weeks before finals; the other did it in front of 500 people from a guy who might not ever even play an afl game.
