Cut him some slack. He's still our best and most important player at his absolute best. I love Beamsy, but he didn't start the year well enough and was playing catch up from round 14 onwards.

If and when we start contending again our 2016 draft class will hopefully be talked up like our class in 97 or geelong's in 2001. Just need one of Cox/Allison/lyons to turn into best 22 players to really cement it.

He has the odd moment in games but overall he is a hugely improved footballer.

Us Robbos are very proud of Nicks season James. He is so invested into this group and these guys are like his brothers. Success in greater measures is coming. Culture is always first in any environment. Binga mentioned culture tonight and his mates being the reason he’s not going anywhere. As a Dad, I would want him anywhere else (Perth included) even though he is greatly missed!
9th in the B&F with the young talent that has come in recently is a serious achievement.
