Details: Not putting them in here because the AFL just loves making this painful
Who can forget the last time we played Collingwood?
Good times, good times...
Or when the men's team played them the week before. I'm sure we all remember what it took to avoid a 0-3 start.
That sliding doors moment saw us win 11 out of our next 13 and Collingwood kick off a five game losing streak and only win three out of their next twelve.
Now we're in a bit of an on-off form slump, combining floggings with losses to teams we shouldn't be losing to. Collingwood OTOH is... also still in a slump. *shrug* And as an added bonus they don't even have their own first round pick to look forward to.
Rather than going into nitty-gritty, I'm just going to point out that even when we're crap we've pulled off upset wins against the Pies.
If you've got a couple of hours spare you can even watch all of that last one!
And then there's obviously some other videos worth watching...
We get up for games against the Pies with a couple of notable exceptions that should not be named in this thread. I'm less worried about this game than I was against Hawthorn for instance. Here's to hoping the guys continue on their merry way - top 4 is out of our hands, but we should at least be willing to hold our hands out in case someone drops 4th into it.
