You know when you carry on about the Bears, it hurts us old Bears supporters. We love our club the Brisbane LIONS. They are not our Bears.That hurts us, but what hurts most is always being bagged for being ex Bears.

Homer, I'll give you $100 if you find a comment that I've made, where I've seriously bagged the Bears, or Bears supporters. You won't be able to find one I bet. You're imagining it all - either that, or perceiving what I say in the wrong manner.

I won't stop requesting that our board be renamed.

I would also prefer that people stop making incorrect comments about me (ie: that I am whinging, or that I've "bagged the Bears"), as they are unfounded.

Present as well. I agree with the others too - give it a rest Olmy. I too, wouldn't wouldn't mind "Lions" being included in the title, but it aint gunna happen.

Denno, as far as I see it, including the Lions in the name is something that 'could' happen. I don't think my comments (albeit, some of them are tongue in cheek) are out of line.

I'm with Olmy on this one. Most other clubs are Westrern Bulldogs Board, North Melb. Kangaroos Board, Sydney Swans Board - can't understand the fuss - Brisbane Lions Board.

Went and had a look at the Board names.
Why should we change.
The Essendon Board, the Carlton Board.
Keep it as it is I say.
Why are we discussing this anyway, its obviously going to stay as it is.Otherwise all the other Boards names would change.

Well, I reckon "Brisbane Lions Board" is more appropriate. Unfortunately, it looks like it won't be happening - along with the "Fitzroy Board" (which would definitely get Roys involved).
