Great effort.

Hell of a forward line there!

I'd have the Scott brothers in over Adcock and Hanley, though I agree that Adcock was underrated in his contribution to the club.

Mal Michael for Patfull.

I'd also take out Redden and have in Pike or even Mitch Robinson.

Pike or Mitch Robinson? Would pay good money to see those two play together.

Harris Andrews is better than Leppitsch. Darryl White a must inclusion. Those 2 and Mal Michael would be my 3 tall backs.
I wouldn't have Harris as better than Leppa, he was a gun defending and providing run out of defense as well as pinch hitting well up front on the rare occasions he was needed up there.

Harris still very young though so time is on his hands to bridge the substantial(IMO) gap over the next decade.

Chris Johnson, Mal Michael, Chris Scott.
Jed Adcock, Justin Leppitsch, Darryl White.

Clark Keating, Michael Voss, Nigel Lappin.
Simon Black, Dayne Zorko, Jason Akermanis.

Craig McRae, Jonathan Brown, Daniel Bradshaw.
Charlie Cameron, Alistair Lynch, Luke Power.

Dayne Beams, Brad Scott, Shaun Hart, Marcus Ashcroft.

Unlucky- Daniel Rich, Tom Rockliff, Stef Martin.

Post more often pls, Mavoso. This board is gasping for your controversial and hard-hitting opinions. And crackpottery.
Ha.
Harris - This guy is a serious player.
The only player to make both AA teams.. and captain of the U22 AA.
But do not pay too much attention to AA Teams.. Harris should have been in last year too. Perhaps would have if not for Jeremy Cameron hit.
Leppa, yeah champion. Did he dominate when we were a bottom 4 team like Harris in 1999, nah.
As lethal used to say.. at an individual level, premiership players can be rated a little better than perhaps they should.
Leppa a champion of the club. But Harris.. his defensive spoiling and intercepting marking, his ability to read the play, he is exceptional.
Line the two of them up in the school yard, give me first pick.. Harris you’re on my team.

Harris probably hasn't played long enough to be considered 'greater' than Leppa. It'll take time but he should get there.

Beams ? Redden ???? Not for mine. I'd rate Ash McGrath way above Redden , he played well consistently when we had poor teams for a long time . Even Mitch.

Plus Harris isn't anywhere near Leppa yet and despite being picked in AA (how ? ) had an ordinary year this year. I note Dizzy outpolled him in the B/F which is about right.

Likewise how many good seasons did we get out of Hanley ?

Harris Andrews will be our greatest ever player by the time he retires.

Don't @me

Some may consider it premature, but I'd have Harris in the team over Mal Michael now. He's got two more AA blazers than Mal ever did to begin with, but also has been a standout player in an at-times struggling team. Mal was super but Andrews has surpassed him as a player now I think.

I also reckon there's a pretty decent chance that if the next 5 years go as I think they will, Daniher might have replaced Bradshaw, McCluggage will have replaced Zorko, and Oscar might be pushing any other ruck.

Zorks has won 4 B/F's plus runner up in another where he was robbed so don't see him ever getting replaced in the team. Can't have Beams myself.

Given where Harris is at his age obviously he's going to be in there if he's not already. Still hard to tip Mal Michael out given his super consistency over a golden era.

Of the guys we have now Charlie hasn't done enough at this stage imo , he's only been on the list 3 years and played half the season in one of them , but in 2 years time could be there . McCluggage should get there . Neale already there .

It's funny how you always romance about the past and I hardly see any guys near the level of 9 or 10 guys from our premiership years. Whether that's fact is up for debate I guess. But Voss ,Lappin, Aker ,Brown, Black ,CJ and some others were one offs . Apart from Neale is there anyone in our team in that class ? I don't think so but maybe it's just an illusion.

Harris..
He is the first defender I selected.
As I raised last year, his defensive spoiling and intercepting marking, his ability to read the play, he is exceptional.
Although back 6 arguably a bit tall, Leppas run and carry, his versatilityenables him to play on a back flank.

Oscar - maybe a bit premature. However after careful consideration, I believe his 2020 season was the best of a Brisbane ruckman in the past 20 years.
it is not surprising he was so well recognised at the club championship dinner this week.
He destroyed Grundy this year, a player on a $7m deal.

Don't think Charlie has achieved even half of what Craig McRae did, a very underrated player - ditto Shaun Hart.

Not saying he might not get there, but that he isn't there yet.

Also wouldn't have Rockliff and Beams in my team.

agreed on the first two but keep in mind both played majority of career before turn of century.

beams and rockliff were stars in their day. I have found across every board, supporters tend to be harsher on players who left the club in bad circumstances.
