Brisbane to win the Styrafome cup

Oops I mean the invisible cup...

Apparently for some reason the Lions are up there as favourites. Cant see why really at this stage. I mean how many other teams won on the weekend - seven I think?

However it's good to also read that Matthews is aiming to win every game this year. Hopefully a bit of self belief can make the difference, as they have the talent, thats for sure. To my mind they only lost on talent alone to Essendon last year, the others were self inflicted to some point.

Brisbane are favourites because Essendon will now struggle to make the finals. Port appears as though they may go through.

As long as Brisbane gets over Calton (who have a number of players out), they should put in a good showing.
