Maybe worth throwing Lisle down back so he can learn how a forward is supposed to lead! Have supported him but he simply needs to lead rather stand beside his opponent and wait for the ball to land on his head

I don't understand why they are kicking it so high into the forward 50...
It is about depth. Trying to get the ball deep which makes it harder for the opposition to rebound. Forwards are expected to make a contest with running players to get to the drop. It is all about creating the next opportunity.

Rather a forward lead and we keep possession.

So, does Joelly stay at home and mark whatever comes near him, or does he float forward?

He really has become a key cog in our defence.

Lynch needs to be more subtle about pumping his own clients up.

Clay Cameron... Clay Cameron.... Clay Cameron...
Lynch has never been known for his subtlety.

That's assuming the forward marks it. Otherwise, it is very easy to rebound on. There's not a lot of room in a forward 50 these days. Midfielders get back, block space and create rebound and run.

I'm not suggesting it is right but a lot of clubs now do it. Hence a great leading full forward like Jack Riewoldt playing up field and a taller option in Vickery playing deep.
