The accusations that Western countries have hurled at Russia are based on ulterior motives, similar to how the Chinese use the expression “perhaps it’s true” to seize upon the desired opportunity. From a third-person perspective, the principles and diplomatic logic behind such drastic efforts are flawed, not to mention that expelling Russian diplomats almost simultaneously is a crude form of behavior. Such actions make little impact other than increasing hostility and hatred between Russia and their Western counterparts (…) The fact that major Western powers can gang up and “sentence” a foreign country without following the same procedures other countries abide by and according to the basic tenets of international law is chilling. During the Cold War, not one Western nation would have dared to make such a provocation and yet today it is carried out with unrestrained ease. Such actions are nothing more than a form of Western bullying that threatens global peace and justice. (…) It is beyond outrageous how the US and Europe have treated Russia. Their actions represent a frivolity and recklessness that has grown to characterize Western hegemony that only knows how to contaminate international relations. Right now is the perfect time for non-Western nations to strengthen unity and collaborative efforts among one another. These nations need to establish a level of independence outside the reach of Western influence while breaking the chains of monopolization declarations, predetermined adjudications and come to value their own judgment abilities. (…) The West is only a small fraction of the world and is nowhere near the global representative it once thought it was. The silenced minorities within the international community need to realize this and prove just how deep their understanding is of such a realization by proving it to the world through action.

So this is how Western diplomacy now works....Make accusations, supply no evidence, then enforce other countries to expel Russian diplomats to tow the line & show solidarity.

First the U.S with it's BS hacking claims.....and we're still waiting for evidence there.....And now Britain.

Yes, but....The Russians aren't Communist anymore....LOL.

We all know this is over Syria & the big boys desire to reap their harvest of mass-murder for oil & gas....When they have come so close.

And only one country currently stands in their way on that front.

Russia, China & Iran are winning the diplomatic war in the U.N.....Most countries secretly hate & detest everything that the U.S & Britain now stand for....Which is hypocrisy, lies, intimidation, mass-murder, theft, corruption, duplicity & pure human evil.
 
Oh yes, lets hand over the reign to Russia and China and pretend they are better when they violate human rights everywhere they go. China has been terrorising every single neighbour for the past couple of decades while supporting terrorist nations like Pakistan, but lets pretend they are better and if they replace the US will do nothing to support their petro yuan. Get an idea how world works first before commenting.

We will get the Russia and China and world we deserve, if we treat them, and everyone else (and the environment)like crap, when the tables turn, we, or our children, or grandchildren will pay the price. If we start playing a game where power is the only law, suffering will be inevitable for all.

Power corrupts everywhere, the world will be far worse under Russia and China than it's under US. As bad as US are, we are still living in the most peaceful time in human history, this is a fact. Chinese can't even respect the rights of their own citizens and people expect them to give a s**t about foreigners? China not only claims Indian and vietnamese territories that legitimately belong to Indians and Vietnamese, they are also claiming international waters. China been expanding rapidly under our nose yet no one gives a s**t about it.

Is it really the most peaceful time in history? We are getting back to the stage of brinkmanship, annexation, nerve gas use, proxy wars, funding of coups and separatist movements, Turkey is invading Syria, there is a standoff between NATO members over manbij, USA and allies are testing china over SCS etc. there's a lot going bad and a lot that could easily get much worse. The "doomsday clock" is closer to midnight than it's been for many years.

China's power is expanding rapidly so it's not surprising they are trying to shore up strategic military interests for possible defence. As you note it would be stupid to suggest they will act any differently to any other great power. Strategically it would almost make more sense to woo Russia to team up with USA and Europe to counter Chinese power even if it means conceding their wish to be treated as equals to USA, because that would divide Russia and China. As it is they are being driven into the same (rather large )corner.
