That's where our midfield improvement will come from, not going after star midfielders from other clubs. Though I'm pissed that we possibly could have gotten Judd if we were willing to put Reid on the trading block but didn't. If say Reid, Rusling and our first rounder could have gotten Judd, I would have done it. All done and dusted I suppose.

I doubt it.

If you compare Carlton's offer:
Kennedy is roughly equivalent to Reid, and I'd rather Pick 3 than Rusling + Pick 14.

Plus, they'd much rather he go to Carlton than a competitor.

I know it's history now, but I still think we would have needed more, probably Thomas+Reid at a minimum.
