I think the club MUST take responability for this. Brock has been a constant tweeter for a long while and often includes bad language and content/links. Should have been clamped down on along time ago

This twitter thing is a symptom of the malaise affecting many professional sportspeople...Too much time on their hands , too much money in their pocket, and too immature to handle it properly....Most of these tweets are just inane nonsense.

If anyone has the "AFL Footy Live" app on their iPhone they would know McLean's tweets are outrageous and have been for well over a year. His language is out of control and his subject matter is often crude. Yes, he often gets bagged by trolls but he'll typically retaliate. Not a good look. It was only a matter of time before the journalists picked him up on it. I actually sent Coutts an email in March about telling McLean to pull his head in, but no reply.

I have given Brock a fair bit of sh1t on here over the last couple of years for his performance. I have no problem with him giving some stick back to someone having a go at him. Should invest in sugar cubes for the all people on their high horses.

People who are offened by these "ya mum" jokes/taunts need to toughen up, clearly they are fiction. I doubt the tweeter is losing any sleep over it and is more likely thrilled that an AFL player actually gave him the attention and replied.

Certain professions have certain responsibilities. If Brock wants to maintain his place on an AFL list, then he has to follow certain guidelines and if he does not like them, simply get another job.
