Gary Lyon was pumping up his tyres last night.
Reckons he’s worth 600k a year.
If you believe the media’s estimation of our playing group we ought to have won 20 flags in the past three years.

He was saying that in the context of Weideman not deserving that kind of pay. His vested interest in Melbourne brought about the comments rather than any actual admiration for Brody IMO

Amazing how late he was identified as a senior player.
Mid 20s

Fascinating isn't it? Makes you wonder how many other gems slip through the cracks. Success can be influenced by so many factors: timing, location, good luck, and who one knows.

I’m in London, 195cm lanky project type that’s got no acceleration whatsoever. Come at me recruiters.

Everyone knows who you are. You originate from Perth and happen to be a 176cm giant that is very prone to sunburn.

Wow factually incorrect basically the whole way through.

Okay yeah the last part seems right. It’s the peroxide ;)

Meh. Off by a few hundred km and 2cm.

BTW I've stood right next to you. There is no way in the world you're 178cm!

Agree.

A lot of sliding doors. Must surely happen.

The only exceptions would be the evident junior sublime talent, that wouldn’t be missed.

But what would be missed is the maturity talent, bet quite a few were missed altogether.

If they're missing on blokes who can hold down CHF, imagine how many mids and flankers have gone begging.

VFL/AFL: 12650th player to appear, 5835th most games played, 2287th most goals kicked
Collingwood: 1148th player to appear, 492nd most games played, 187th most goals kicked

Just bumping this a bit to let you guys know that Mihocek's already up to 24 games and 40 goals.

40 goals isn't a milestone but, for a guy who debuted last year and was on the draft radar since 2011, he's reached 40 goals quite nicely.

Normally 40 goals (so far) from one player in his 2nd season would be considered a massive feat but for Stephenson's 51 goals so far.

Pretty awesome from Mihocek. It's still less than a year from his debut game

Fits right in.

Adjusted to the tempo of AFL as if he’s been part of it for years.

Credit to him and his work effort.

Kinda feels like hes been around for longer than that? I guess quite a bit has happened since his debut.

Big game from Checkers would be handy on Saturday.
You got the above.Brody would have to one of the bravest players playing. Copped a big hit to the head early and subsequent continued his battering ram role as he always does without any fear for his personal safety.Garry Lyon is a big fan of Brody's and it is not hard to see why.
