I've always had some weird fascination with broken bones, I don't know why. For some reason I want to experience one before I die, because you hear of people saying the pain is unbearable, but you hear of people not feeling a thing because of shock etc.

There is truth to that. When I broke my leg, it wasn't the pain that hurt.........It was more the fact that i was trying to move my feet/toes and I couldnt.....At that point, the thoughts going through my head .

I spent 24 hours in the local hospital with a broken leg. One thing i learned after the whole incident is that morphine/surgery/eating .......dont mix well

I had minor surgery done a few years ago at the local hospital, asked for morphine when I came to because I was in pain, got given double the dose, then had some sandwiches because i hadn't eaten for ages due to fasting. Lets just say, the staff had a task cleaning up after me for the rest of the afternoon.

Never had a broken bone. But I have shut the car door on my thumb

A heavy wooden door at high school shut on my thumb when I was standing in the doorway not paying attention, hurt like hell and it was black and blue for weeks.

Also dislocated a finger playing touch rugby and that was painful too and took about a year before it got back to moving normally.

Nothing compared to breaking an arm or leg though.

Got king hit in a game of footy when I was 19 and ended up with a broken jaw.

Had a plate and 3 screws inserted in to my jaw and had it wired shut for 2 weeks while it healed. I could only eat soup or drink things like sustagen.

.
how mad where you on getting revenge?

Where do I start in the past 3 years I have:
1. Broken my elbow falling down stairs
2. Broken my leg playing football (TTT fracture)
3. Broken my wrist playing footy (punched a football, waiting on surgery for that, happened two years ago)
4. Broke my ankle playing dodgeball (jumped and rolled ankle on landing)
5. Broke my elbow playing basketball (fell over a tennis net in between courts)
6. Dislocated my knee playing volleyball (backed into someone who jumped onto me)

Yeah Morphine is horrible, i was on it for 3 or 4 days and when they finally stopped it i kind of felt like a recovering heroin junkie. lol.

Broke my collarbone on a mountain biking trip in year 10 Outdoor Ed. Went on a mountain biking trip 2 years later for Outdoor Ed in year 12 and snapped the same bone again.

I honestly cannot imagine a broken collarbone. I remember my mate had the privileged of being the first person over a jump we made as kids.........bang, broken collarbone. We took him home and his old boy says " nothing wrong with you mate. Just go run it under the shower.....You'll be right "

Playing footy and some guy sniped me with his elbow, went down, blood everywhere, trainer comes out and puts a towel around my face, back in the changerooms and he lifts the towel off and the look on his face was priceless, run over to the mirror and my nose is at right angles

Went to the hospital and they couldn't reset it til all swelling had gone down so a two day wait, I had a 3rd date (we all know what that means ;)) that night, with a bird I was fairly keen on, tried to cancel but she was having none of it, rocked up and she finds it a huge turn on, saying it makes me all manly , fair to say the the pain was all worth it :D

18 bones broken/fractured so far. Mostly fingers from cricket. Broke my elbow falling from a bunk bed when I was around 8. Broken my left arm 3 times so far, once from slipping over on wet decking at school another time went for a smother playing footy at school and got there late and the guy kicked me in the arm was a pretty bad break that one. Broke my nose 3 times, 1st time I rode a bike went straight into the back fence in the yard, 2nd time got hit in the face by a torpedo when I was on the mark, 3rd time got kinghit at a nightclub.

Big toe, little finger, ribs, leg, arm, knee cap.

Best one was the leg, got crushed between a car door and brick wall. Pushed the car back up the driveway by myself and went inside and watched tv for half an hour before I realised it was ****ed [was wearing black jeans so couldn't see the blood - endorphins are a wonderful thing].

Fingers and toes shouldn't count.

Collarbone in a team mate sandwich bump at training.

Hip (twice, not major but snapped off a little piece attached to the quadricep.

Humerus (not even funny, minor bike crash but major damage, 4 screws holding the pieces inside my shoulder together, if i was any older my arm would have been fixed solid with no shoulder movement).

Looking forward to my next sodium pethanol (sp?) greenstick. Not looking forward to rehab though. Thats where the real pain is.

Or one time at best, if I counted multiples I can't even count on my fingers, how many times I've broken my fingers... Damn basketball, not a single one of my fingers doesn't look like a fleshy twisty anymore :P

Your movie was one of the more tolerable ones by M Night Shyamalan

Radius and ulna in my left arm,
all fingers and both thumbs (a few times)
3 or 4 bones in my hand
2 Ribs
fractured my C2 vertebrae
Also broken my nose twice
All in separate incidents.
Didn't know about my neck for a week afterward. Arm hurt the most, neck took the longest to heal, hands still give me grief (26 yo with moderate arthritis) and ribs were by far the most frustrating.
