I'm not sure how many of you guys would've encountered this, or known this was even a thing but Bigfooty seems to attract a fair few dropkicks highly educated posters so I thought I'd ask around.

Apparently there's been a bit of a movement for people to identify themselves as being into 'Brony'. Now from what I gather, it's basically guys in their early 20's onwards that watch 'My Little Pony' for enjoyment. What are people's knowledge of it? What is it that makes people want to watch a show designed for five year old girls? I just don't understand this at all.

Barely. I saw this posted in another thread haha, had never heard of this 'subculture' until then.

To be honest I doubt anybody on a footy forum would be that strange (Geelong supporters excluded)

It is far worse than you can imagine, they want more than just watching it, just type in "I want to cum" on Facebook to see for yourself.

I suppose it was the Irony I enjoyed the most, and the people on youtube. Just people getting creative with the scenes and shit.

The show was Ok but it really dropped off when Faust left. I was never an Autistic fan like these people, nobody would have a clue in real life.

I was a fan for about a year but got real tired of it.

Definition of "Brony" via UD:


A name typically given to the male viewers/fans (whether they are straight, gay, bisexual, etc.) of the My Little Pony show or franchise. They typically do not give in to the hype that males aren't allowed to enjoy things that may be intended for females.
