Well I haven't heard the evidence but I've seen the incident a few times as well as live and I'd have to say that the punishment was at the low end of the vengeance scale. Makes other "charging" penalties seem pretty harsh by comparison in my view. But I don't care, as long as both of them got at least one game. The other was pathetic.

Apparently Francis stated to the tribunal that the reason he was stretchered off was not due to contact from Brown, but from his head hitting the ground, and that he felt the contact was not malicious. If he did really say that, makes you wonder where they pulled 3 weeks from!

Will have to wait till tomorrow arvo now and see what the appeal outcome is.
