Welcome to the new era of more player movements.... I personally am more excited this year than any other.
Who cares where Brown has nominated, there would be multiple clubs in Victoria fighting for him now that he is open to a trade. The Eagles will now shop him around and if the contract suits Mitch then he can take it or leave it. We are in a strong position.
Cripps is out of contract so we can afford to give a 2nd or 3rd rounder for him and keep the 2 trades separate.

Agreed. I pointed this out and it did not go down well.Really? Big over payment there I would have thought
So Mitch Brown to St Kilda for Cripps and Pick #24.
Sounds fair.
Dogs just lost Lake for a first rounder. Will they want a replacement back?
Chris JuddDavid Wirrpanda?
Michael Braun?
Luke Shuey?
Adam Selwood?
Scott Selwood?
Smart stuff from the Dogs, he's a FA next yr, get a good deal while you can is how it's going to be.Dogs just lost Lake for a first rounder. Will they want a replacement back?
Chris Judd
Koby Stevens
Mitch Brown
Ben Mckinley
Is this realistic?Cripps and 24? No way. We should either keep him or try to send him to GWS for Hogan. He'd get games there.![]()
Is this realistic?
Brown has to agree and he seems set on St Kilda (as reported, not 100% accurate).
24 and Cripps would be decent return from St Kilda. Not great but a pass, especially if Brown has indeed declared he wants out.

I'd want their Pick 12.
Anything less and I'd tell them to get stuffed.
I'd take Cripps and 12.
He's contracted.
Pick 12 is gone for Tom Lee. Lol
Anything actually official come out from the club about this yet. So far its just been a dodgy article on AFL.com.au with no actual sources
How does Free Agency work for Brown next year if he stays? As he will be uncontracted more clubs will be keen and we can get value for him then anyway.
Why settle for Cripps and 24 now when he can try to keep him and get something of equal or better value at the end of his contract?
AFL.com reporting that Essendon looking hard at Stevens and also Brown.
Their Pick 10 is already spent... obviously Pears would be nice but what else would they have (and be willing to give up) that we would want?
