*Yawn*

Blah blah blah, bullshit, blah blah blah, yada yada, regurgitate the same old shit and push up someone who has done jack shit just to sack Russell.

It's low key game when we're playing Adelaide and looking for three wins on the trot?

The WCE game will be huge when Judd and Kennedy will be playing.

The Chelsworthgale has blown your nonsense posts back into your face.

Regurgitate the same old shit? such as russell is an average footballer, he hasn't developed all his "potential and talent", his skills are shocking and his courage his questionable... some would say they are pretty good things to regurgitate... if you want to argue he is a good bloke a number 8 draft pick and that will make him a good footballer good luck...

What I am saying is that Armfield showed more in his two NAB cup games that Russell has shown in his 50 odd AFL games! The areas in which Russell has let us down in the last couple of weeks, courage, speed, and skills were not questions that were asked of Armfield in the NAB cup.

As for the low key game, yes three in a row would be huge but it would of been in the "comfort" of 40,000 plus blues fans outnumbering crows fans 500 to 1. To debut a kid in front of 40,000 plus eagles fans out numbering blues fans 500 to 1 would only compound the difficulty of debuting! See the point now?

Don't care. :)

Of course you don't... Russell has had plenty of time to develop... PLENTY OF TIME, he hasn't it is plain an simple... we have been doing well to weed out the passengers in the side, it is time for Russell to join Hackland back in the VFL to play out his days, only to be called on when we are scraping the bottom of the depth barrel!

yeh i do have eyes... whats your point?

how can you suggest he will become "our heath shaw" when he played the role of a small crumming forward...

agree on the skills, they were good... fitness at AFL level is questionable at this young stage, seemed to run out of gas at the end there was one instance where he let a bloke run straight past him and he didn't chase... but doctor smooth suggested that he had a bit of hamstring tightness which would of contributed to it. Will be a good player and size will limit him to midfield and forward line duties but looks the goods! :thumbsu:

he didnt play small crummming forward, he interchanged in the midfield and half forward.
he has played HBF in the 'ants, and has been shutting down opposition dangerous small forwards.
Why i think he can be our shaw is because he has super disposal, and thats what we need for a player who sets up our plays. he looks to have reasonable decision making for a youngster and reminds me of a shaw tbh. :thumbsu:

playing half forward, as a role of a crummer, along with Betts... similar in set up to Hawthorn with the Rioli and Stokes set up early...

However I can see where you are coming from re: the backline... However at 179 often it will be hard to find a match up, but against players like Milne, Rioli and even A.Davey I can see where you are coming from :thumbsu:

Gee he did really really well today for a 1st gamer. Put his head over the ball when he had to, and really used the ball well. Looks like WH & SR have found one here.

Hopefully Armfield gets a run soon as well.

Agree there, HBF. Nice goal and could have been 2. Did just as Tex did in his debut and almost hung onto a screamer. Like his composure and foot-skills too. All good.

Yep. :thumbsu:

Really liked his game, seems composed with the ball and skills look very good. Taller than I thought he was, though.
