What I am saying is that Armfield showed more in his two NAB cup games that Russell has shown in his 50 odd AFL games! The areas in which Russell has let us down in the last couple of weeks, courage, speed, and skills were not questions that were asked of Armfield in the NAB cup.
As for the low key game, yes three in a row would be huge but it would of been in the "comfort" of 40,000 plus blues fans outnumbering crows fans 500 to 1. To debut a kid in front of 40,000 plus eagles fans out numbering blues fans 500 to 1 would only compound the difficulty of debuting! See the point now?
