If winning 1 of you're last 14 (?) games makes you "such a good team" then despite coming last we must be pretty good too cos we got 2 and a half in that time

Its nice we can all be such great sides :)

What I don't like are the Tigers trolls who gave us a hard time earlier this year.

Loved listening to the game last night.

I actually saw Browny running HARD after the ball at one stage last night... Yeah, I feel a bit sorry for him, but he and Tigers didn't feel sorry for us last year.

Karma. I love it.
You should read their threads on the Richmond board. I actually feel for them as I have always had a soft spot for the Tigs (best mate goes for them). They have already conceded last spot and priority picks.

Just referring to the tossers on this board who've been posting "Thanks for Browny! We're going to be so, so good with him!" or words to that effect accompanied with about 50 smilies.

No sympathy whatsoever.

judas is a great player but why do all this d##khead richmond supporters think the tigers were his first choice. they just offered him most money. he only does whats best for himself and its been evident for the last couple of years.

You were very keen on us getting Rawlings well before the trade period even started once it became evident that Browny was looking elsewhere and it ended up being a decent 'trade' although it was not exactly embraced by too many here on trade day. Most were calling for a sacking or two :)

To be quite honest, I'm sick of reading about Browny here especially when you consider that Rawlings doesn't rate too much of a mention on the Hawks board. Brown has moved on and I'm happy enough with the outcome but I don't wish he or the Tigers any bad luck. I just hope we are good enough to beat them when we play them.

Actually Dry Rot, if memory serves you were keen on Bassett well before we drafted him the season before ? So given your success rate who do you think we have a good show of getting during the next draft/trade period ? :)

Hear hear. Couldnt agree more-except for the bit about not wishing Richmond any bad luck, although it seems they are having enough of that without any input from me.

Not sure why everyone likes hopping into the Tigers, Wayne Campbell aside :), but it seems that they are a favorite with a number of people.

For me its just the meory of all those arrogant bandwagoners from the late 60s and early 70s.
They were just so pleased with themselves for barracking for such a good team. I'll bet they are the ones spitting on the players and coach right now.

Oh and its Wayne Campbell as well, easily my most hated ever player. Such a shame he is an ex Golden Square player.

Richmond supporters are some of the first people to put the boots in when we are down and demand that we shouldn't get AFL assistance and should merge or fold. The so-called Big Four aren't looking so flash themselves these days.

We enjoy hopping into them because their fans are astoundingly arrogant, particuarly towards us, when they have no reason to be. Also lorded it over us when they got Browny, so its quite amusing to see that even with him they are still crap.

And yes, Wayne Campbell is one of the main recipients of laying the boots in, given that he's a squib, a receiver and a liar.

I dont wish Brown any harm, nor do I wish him good luck at his new club, but I just think its kind of funny how Brown arrives at Richmond, the fans have their fun, sh*t stir us Dogs fans about landing him and hail him as their saviour, and five rounds in, they are 1 and 4, spitting and hurling vicious abuse at players and coaches, clearly showing yet again why they have arguably the worst reputation in the league as fans.

Thats why we're enjoying it OldSchool. Maybe you should join in our fun pal. :)

Can't remeber the timing, but I'd read good things about his defensive abilities from Port people.

Will have to look into my crystal ball - hope I can find a nasty mid sized defender or tagger.

Also made call that Minson would be great when he was drafted. ;)

yes, but then again we will most likely be one and four after today and have all spent a fair amount of time hurling abuse at the coach on this board since the start of the season.

How you could possibly even compare what we say about the coach (I cant recall any death threats to Peter) to what Richmond do is beyond me. Have you had 1 too many drinks already or what?

Ps. Richmond werent meant to be 1 and 4, more like 3 and 2 at worst. Most of us were expecting probably 2-3 at best.
