This sentiment is shared by plenty more people than just pies supporters.

I am gutted, Swan looked gutted and Collignwood should be gutted and angry. But at the end of the day a GF medallion will make up for everything.

I know I'd much rather be supporting a team which is still in the running for the ultimate prize in football over a team who had one of their players win an undeserved, joke of a medal.

Not sure why people are laughing at Collingwood supporters tbh, I envy them.

Exactly. It's the most prestigious award in our competition. The fact that Shane Woewodin has one and Carey doesn't isn't right. It's just not.

The Brownlow is too often coughing up the wrong names as the best in the comp and they're officially recognised at greats of our game when the truth is, they're not.

I dont think it's a big suprise at all, nobody was going to take votes off him and you only needed to look at past brownlows to know he votes very well in ordinary games.

It's pretty obvious now that the umpires just don't like giving votes to Dane Swan.
I had money on him to win it last year and he didn't vote in many games he should have. This year he played outstanding football so has to vote but still doesn't get the 3's.


For some reason the umps just wont give him votes.

I have no problem with Chris Judd. He is a standout in an ordinary team so will always poll well but just surprised with how Swan only got 2 BOG's.
