I still think the worst ever brownlow medalist was tony liberatore.
No way! This guy is an absolute gun and will be for years to come. If we could choose one player in the league to come to us he would be right up there. This will go down with brownlow winners like Wines, Priddis and Woewodin...

100%. He openly hates us. Built us up this year to tear us down.Cornes voted on the rising star and only gave Curtin two votes, behind Ashcroft and Langford.
Everyone is entitled to their opinion but combined with recent comments on Dawson and the Worrell debacle, he’s shown he is too biased for these gigs.
Out of all the votes to rig. You surely don't go for the most obvious one?Luckily there has been no suspicious Brownlow activity since 2022, and this definitely stopped back then.

Four men charged over alleged AFL Brownlow Medal betting scheme
Investigators say the four men collectively broke the law dozens of times, using corrupt conduct information to gamble on the 2021 and 2022 Brownlow medal awards.www.abc.net.au
Hot Opinion
There shouldn't be any individual awards
No Brownlows
No Best & Fairests
Team game
There's only winning and losing
Cause we regularly got hammered in the middle and that's where all the votes come from.Won 18 games, and the team received 93 out of a possible 144 votes.
Make of that what you will. We always seem to cop a lack of votes in a winning side.

Very trueCause we regularly got hammered in the middle and that's where all the votes come from.
Forwards and defenders, areas we were elite at, dont get votes.
I think Curtin got hyped up from a fairly small number of games where he was very good. Outside of that he was reasonably quiet with moments in games. Wasn't an overly strong year for rising star voting.Cornes voted on the rising star and only gave Curtin two votes, behind Ashcroft and Langford.

Buddy, Matthews, Carey, Ablett snr, Bartlett, Selwood, Pendlebury, Dunstall. Not a Brownlow medal between them. This award is like the all Australian award, it lost credibility years ago. The fact that arguably the best ever player to play the game in Wayne Carey never won the brownlow tells you something.
Deserving winner. He was clever and consistent. Good luck to him.I think Curtin got hyped up from a fairly small number of games where he was very good. Outside of that he was reasonably quiet with moments in games. Wasn't an overly strong year for rising star voting.

Is there anything he hasn’t got his grubby little hands on, he’s worse than everywhere EddieCornes voted on the rising star and only gave Curtin two votes, behind Ashcroft and Langford.

It’s pretty poor that he’s involved in AFL awards like AA, Rising Star etc.Is there anything he hasn’t got his grubby little hands on, he’s worse than everywhere Eddie

If you played SuperCoach and/or AFL Fantasy .....people would realise Rowell was indeed a better chance last night for the Brownlow .....far better than Naicos's season ....and Dawson's (who btw cost me a top 100 finish)Buddy, Matthews, Carey, Ablett snr, Bartlett, Selwood, Pendlebury, Dunstall. Not a Brownlow medal between them.
The AFL has a problem in recognising good players but missing the guys who become the true ornaments. Like so many problems within the archaic organisation, hubris is it's greatest failing.
Irrelevant award now days.
P.s. but congrats to Matt Rowell. This is an attack on the AFL, not your excellent year.
