Now I'm no fashion expert but apparantly according to some gay fashion guy all the chicks at the brownlow looked like scrags.Or to that effect . The only one looking half ok was matthew lloyds girl apparantly.

What is it with the afl boys taking out tarted up looking women.There appears to be not alot of class and elegance that I believe is required to be on the arm on a gorgeous afl star,I know if I were invited I'd make sure I looked very classy and elegant.None of this cleavage flashing scraggy looking hair and bad dresses.Maybe there are some that do make a huge effort to look graceful and elegant maybe the tv camera men just don't choose to film them.About time the girls lifted their standards.And the camera men too.
 
some of them look aweful! Exspecially Brodie Hollands girlfriend Sartia 'look like a footy and smell like one to' Stella. god i HATE that bimbo!!! Woewodins fiancce looked like a viking woman, just needed the horn hat and she was completed! What was with like the **** half hanging out i mean hello! its a medal presentation not a strip club!:rolleyes:
 
What was even more unattractive was the looks of almost painful boredom being worn by the dates. They only go to strut the red carpet, after that they lapse into catatonic states - only cracking a smile if their boyfriend's name is mentioned.

If Sarita Stella can even spell AFL, I'll be surprised. If the rest of them can name all 16 sides in the comp, I'll eat a Sherrin.

Seriously though, I think you're overestimating the 'style' credentials of most of the footballers. It's easy for a guy to look good, just buy a good suit, shirt, tie, etc.

Harder for girls...that said some of them looked like tramps

For me, the bonus of Simon Black polling so often in the Brownlow was the camera would cross to him and his delightful girlfriend Christine Chappell. What a stunning woman she is, and she didn't need everything hanging out to look gorgeous, she is a natural who would look good in anything.
Simon Black is a very lucky man,

Yeah, ive got to admit she is beginning to give me the s**ts too, who can forget that Footy Show farce earlier this year. Brodie wasnt a chance for the Brownlow, so I think we can all use common sence to determine how he got an invite to the big night.

If a woman criticises another woman, it's automatically jealousy? Where did you come up with that twisted logic?

When a girl who calls herself Demon 22 criticises Woey’s girlfriend for showing off her breasts I tend to call that jealousy.

When a bunch of woman have a whine about attractive girls wearing skimpy dresses walking on red carpet and know little else about them I tend to call that jealousy as well.

Des Headland's date was the best. Probably best that he didn't try and squeeze into a sparkly frock though.

Tania Hird looked great too. Didn't look fake, just naturally good.

The problem is usually with the escorts....the girls that have been with the guys for a long time (ie, Tania Hird and Lisa Caparello) don't look bad because they're there for the guys. Not to show off or be try hards.

As for Woewodin's wife? Must say I agree, she didn't look too great! "I just wanted to feel comfortable." Yeah right!! eek!

I love how guys can slag off at the players as much as they like but the minute the girls pipe up about other women, it's immediately jealousy.

Sarita Stella is a nothing but an inept giggling airhead who is going out with an AFL player to boost her own profile. And probably vice versa. In my opinion, that is nothing to be jealous about.

I agree Simon Black's girlfriend looked nice, as did a couple of the long-term partners.
