Really pleased he won.
Nice modest young man.
Deserving winner.
Very pleasant off the field and gained a lot of respect when it was made aware that he played a prelim with a broken leg.

Should get a proper date next year ;)

Well done to Fyfe.:thumbsu:

Deserving winner and seems like a good bloke to boot. Would have been ridiculous if he'd been rubbed out on the three fines and your out rule (which he was pretty close to getting)

Lastly, Priddis impressed me last year with his acceptance speech and was also a worthy winner . Would have been a travesty though if he had knocked Fyfe off for the Charlie this year.

Fyfe really should do something about that hair though. The just got out of bed look really doesn't suit him:thumbsdown:

Mundy was hard done by. By my count there were two instances where all media outlets had him on 3 votes yet he didn't poll a vote.

How Stefan Martin didn't get 3 votes in Round 23 I will never know. Had one of the best individual games a ruckman has ever had.

I don't want to be pernickety, but I really disagree with this line of logic. Gerard Whateley nailed this point. The Brownlow is for the "fairest and best". Fyfe pushes the limit on fairest. If he misses out because he keeps tripping people or landing late-ish shots, he's not fairest. If he is just the best, let him win other awards for which that's the only criterion.

I agree that he's a deserving winner, but I would have no problem with someone missing out for reportable offences.

Nah Barlow was a great date. Got to have a lot of fun with it as he has no pressure on him

While plenty of fair players have won it over the years, plenty who aren't so fair have too. E.g. Dipper, Greg Williams, Plugger, Libba and Judd to name a few. Compared with that lot he's saintly.

Glad she got acknowledged. she looked lovely.
Good genes run in the Charmans.

They have been an item for a while.
Stunning. I thought she was the standout.

A bit late but I'm stoked that Fyfe won it, easily the best player in the comp with Ablett missing large chunks of the last 2 years.
I would have been gutted if Mitchell aka "sniper" had of got over him
