Did you miss the Brownlow count last year? Umpires are transitioning to just giving the best player in the team 3 every round.

I think after what happened last year with Cripps and Daicos, the umpires will be conscious about dishing out too many votes to them, hence why I think Daicos will be lucky to be in double figures by this stage of the count.

Are you saying that because they will consider him unlucky not to have won it last year?

Conversely, they could be more cautious when giving him and Cripps votes, given the number of votes they both received last year.

It could go either way, but regardless, I'd be very surprised if he was leading right now.
