Brownlow voting

Does anybody have any estimates for how some of our boys are doing in the brownlow count this year? The average number of votes needed to win over the last decade is 25.

I don't think Gaz will poll as many votes as people hope, unfortunately. The Great Man (who admittedly did have his share of tribunal appearances) was never a big vote-grabber in his time - Couchy and Buddha tended to attract them.

I'd suspect Jimmy has polled well in most of the wins, and maybe even scraped a vote or two in the losses.

Jimmy will finish somewhere in the top 5 if his form holds up.

Gaz doesn't do himself any favours. Came in and asked the umpire how he could possibly see where the ball was when the holding the ball decision was given against Egan. Umpires decisions in games have been rubbish, I'm worrired the voting will be crap house too. I'll be putting my cash on Selwood in the pre-season over the next few years. Doesn't talk back, plays the game, gets the contested ball and uses it well.

I reckon Gazza will be up there but not as high as alot of ppl think. If he keeps playing like this for the rest of the season, would give it a real damn hot go at returning the charlie to its home

Somebody needs to tell Junior to keep his mouth shut around the umps. Does anybody have any idea how players like Mitchell (Hawks), Pavlich (Freo), Judd or Cornes (Port) are likely to be polling? Surely Judd and Mitchell are likely to be in the top 5?

I think G Ablett has a ffantastic chance, his ability to keep his feet is awesome and i think is very noticeable.

I put another $10 on him at 62.5 for the E/W option. That'll be spending money for the GF

I actually think Abletts a bigger chance now than Jimmy. Gazza stands out a lot more and will catch the ups eyes more.
