Lol another backfire for Meltdown Mario after his running tally of Naitanui's votes ended with him being the highest polling ruckman this year
That's why we need to release him.

I'm starting to come around to thinking this as well. The question is who does the role Selwood plays? Do we have anyone who can do it, or we need to bring someone in? I think McGinnity is too limited to play this role in the midfield. Adam Selwood for all his faults is our best small defender. Anyone else on the list capable? If we made a play for Wellingham, this is the role I see him playing.
No but Brownlow votes don't count.kane249 had a good response.
My own fault for deleting my sportsbet account because I never made any money.I worked it out. After outgoings I won $3. Lol.Less than New Orleans and the 49ers losing cost me, still end up down on the day. It's never fun punting in HoneyBadger land.
Someone who is willing to sacrifice his game for the team or who perhaps doesn't have game? Someone who can play on talls and smalls? Someone who can play inside and outside? Doesn't need to be super quick as guys like Pendles, Thompson, Boyd, Mitchell, Watson etc are not either. Someone with a long neck perhaps to see whats coming up?I'm starting to come around to thinking this as well. The question is who does the role Selwood plays? Wellingham underrated to me because he's in a team of guns, would not be disappointed if we picked him up. Him and masto can share hairstyles and random tattoos too.I'm starting to come around to thinking this as well. The question is who does the role Selwood plays? not sure who cothchen is but he must be a flop cos i havent heard of him.The given is that it is a midfielders award. Glass was overlooked after several outstanding games.
Kerr was also not given cred for some games.
Our youth is our future.
But, it also showed that we don't have the gun mids or depth of strength midfield. When we are thrashed our mids are outclassed and out muscled muscled. Eg- martin against Tigers then Hawks, Swans, Crows and Pies - we we lost we lose big time midfield
easy to see where we need development.
Cothchen pick 2, masten pick 3 is an example. Time for a very big pre season and perhaps wise trading.
You mean all six Brownlow votes. I don't think Kerr was the clear BOG at all, to me Beams was BOG that game and deserved the 3 votes. However, I thought Kerr was definitely better than Cloke and Swan who got the 2 and 1 votes.Definition of insult to injury; losing a big game away by less than goal after a series of inexplicable umpiring decisions, and then having all five browlow votes go to the home team despite having the clear BOG (Kerr)
He got two cheapish goals from memory. You mean all six Brownlow votes. I don't think Kerr was the clear BOG at all, to me Beams was BOG that game and deserved the 3 votes. However, I thought Kerr was definitely better than Cloke and Swan who got the 2 and 1 votes.
I thought McGinnity was going to be given a run with role at the start of the year, but they persisted with him on the half forward line. If he's going to get his spot in the side he needs to move to the midfield.
Scooter - 15
Kerr - 13
Cox - 12
Pridda - 8
I was shocked that Kerr didn't get 3 votes given they got the 1 and 2 and only won by a few points.Definition of insult to injury; losing a big game away by less than goal after a series of inexplicable umpiring decisions, and then having all five browlow votes go to the home team despite having the clear BOG (Kerr)
I suppose you're talking about Beams. Or maybe Cloke? If it's Beams then I remember the ones you're referring to. One was from an advantage call in the first quarter where all our players stopped and the other was from a free kick in the last quarter that probably wasn't there. Outside of that he was still very good. It's not like the umpires would take their own potential mistakes into account when deciding how well a player played anyway. He got two cheapish goals from memory.
