While I'm very proud of my club's recent and historical successes (probably because I came of age during the dark times), I do get embarrassed when my fellow Hawks get a little too boastful. It's one thing to celebrate loudly on our board, but on everyone else's we should remember that a touch of humility in victory hasn't been shown to cause cancer.

JoondalupJ are you reading this, you really should.

And I think the tribunal will try to pay some heed to ASADA, whilst leaving some hope for Windy Hill. A smack on wrist that can appease foamers a little. They will still foam. And tribunal inflict some pain for Windy Hill with a nod to ASADA and canberra pollies

6 weeks in season. mebbe 6 months. The tribunal will do the expedient, the political, they will hand down the non-decision decision. They will retro fit or reverse engineer it into ASADA regulations. It is not a tightrope, they cant satisfy everyone, but this is the decision they will "find". In this way, the decision has already been "found".

by seeking to satisfy everyone, they satisfy no-one. the political becomes the apolitical.

these were my thoughts a while ago too, but my 'lettuce leaf is going in dry' metaphor had the post deleted. i still pick 8 rounds of afl in the sweepstakes, an amount to annoy all sides.

It's such a media beat up. Some of the consents apparently stated "White with two and an iced vovo".

I don't care what mt hero coach, beloved club doctor, or all the other players say, that strange man is not going to inject me with iced vovos.

Ingest maybe.

AT - has anyone asked Mr Francis to give an honest account of his attachments (if any) to the people/entities in this saga?

I don't believe Mr Francis is capable of giving a honest account, he has invested some much time and energy into the saga. He appears to be OCD for a casual observer and the lengths he has gone to defies logic.
If his honesty was contrary to his published views, where would that leave him and his credibility?

The more I read from the guy, the more I'm amazed that people take him seriously.

Just how are the posters on Bombertalk not pulling his thoughts apart? Why has it taken AT to do it?

This a quote from BF that helps answer your question:

"I was brought up on rugby union and rugby league, and as I couldn’t recall knowing a single person who supported Essendon, I had no problem tackling the task objectively. I had no personal interest in whether Essendon and Hird were found culpable or not."

Wasn't his mate that asked him to investigate it an Essendon supporter
