Home, too wired to sleep, and ears ringing. was Front Standing area, and even got a hand on the Boss's left ankle as he crowed surfed during Hungry Heart! An amazing show, have rarely experienced a concert with so much energy and so much fun. Venue was fantastic.

Advice for those going tomorrow- Free shuttle busses run from the police station in Woodend. we got there around 1.30PM and got one with no trouble. Took a while to enter the venue, but the line (despite being long), moved swiftly as tickets were scanned. It did take an hour to get on a bus back to Woodend and then another hour back to Melb.

Was all worth it. Just a brilliant show.

Tom Morello as a replacement for Van Zandt was an inspired choice.

Hope he does spirit in the night tomorrow. love that live

It was brilliant :)

For me playing the River and Atlantic City was enough but that encore run of Born to Run, Glory Days and DITD was breathtaking :)
Fantastic venue as well, plenty of space to boogie int he lawn, no lines at the bar, what more could you ask for? :)

Was in "seats" yesterday but my mate and I left my seat and we stood in the aisle the whole time. Lots of fun out there. It is LOUD. I suggest taking ear plugs. Jimmy Barnes was boring, and loud, and I dread sitting through it again.

Badlands > Prove It was sick, then into High Hopes worked well. Cbf writing about the whole show but it was really a lot of fun. Atlantic City was probably my highlight, glad I heard it. Brilliant. Glory Days was great, one guy beside me was absolutely loving life, was great to see. Dancing In The Dark was a lot of fun too.

Could barely hear Jimmy on Tougher Than The Rest, (which was good). He is a waste of space, piss off you stupid w4nker. He was in leather pants too ffs.

I know! The bar was constantly without lines! Same with the dunnies! Must've been awesome having the doggies smashing it all the while as well....

Was a great show. Had a ball rockin out in the pit again. Bit disappointed I didnt get Jungleland, but got a few different songs than Brisbane #1, so all good. GOTJ was a highlight again, how lucky are the Aussie crowds to get that version for the entire leg of the tour!

The venue is awesome! Was ducking in and out of the pit for drinks and toilet with no fuss at all. They even let u take drinks back in. Nice to be treated like an adult for once! If the phone reception wasn't so dodgy it'd be perfect.

Jealous of those going again tonight. No doubt he leave nothing on the stage.

Did they search bags for bottles with lids?

Yeah Joad is amazing. Really digging it.

How long did it take you to get out?

Was in the pit again last night, very similar spot to Rod Laver 3, about 3m from the rail right in front of Nils.

Another awesome show, was so stoked to get Spirit again. Was a fairly hit-based setlist compared to others, but that can be fun for a change. The couple that requested If I Should Fall Behind were standing directly beside me and were in shcok when he took their sign and strummed his way through it on his own - simply beautiful. I was certain he was about to take my "Kitty's Back" sign as well

Two dancers during Dancing in the Dark was great; I walked past the chick in the 92-93 tour shirt who danced like Courtney Cox after the show and told her she was great. She was still in shock.

Jake Clemons, I love you. I pulled the camera out a few times last night and was more focused on Jake than anything. Got some great footage of him playing the DITD outro solo while Bruce danced on the big screen behind him. Magical. I demand Jake be made a permanent member of the E-Street Band and play all over the next album. I know he's only playing his uncle's lines at the moment, but I'm sure he can bring the noise to the table if given the chance in the studio. I can't wait for DITD tonight to see him get some more mic time. My sign tonight from the 3rd row of seats "Man crush on Jake". I hope Bruce will eventually honour one of the many "I want to dance with Soozie" signs a few blokes had. Would be awesome.

Shortest show of my three so far, but still plenty of genuine crowd interaction which you just don't get with any other performer. Only 4 songs from Wrecking Ball - I want Rocky Ground soooooo bad. I got This Depression and Jack of All Trades in Brisbane so I've heard all except one of my Wrecking Ball favorites.

The power of 10th Av Freeze Out is so great to experience. High Hopes is such a great song, it's a cover right?

Long live the Ghost of Tom Joad feat. Tom Morello Tour, comes to a mighty close tonight. I've had a blast in Melbourne over the last week and am dreading going back to my normal life on Tuesday.

I'm in the seats tonight, 3rd row so plenty of face time with Bruce when he does his laps of the (very small) pit area.

I'm getting the train to Woodend and the free shuttle to Hanging Rock. People who did this yesterday, can you do the same thing getting back???

What a day!
Hassle free day too, left Brunswick at 1.30pm got in around 2.30pm, drove straight in and parked just under the rock next to the cafe. sat around drinking beers on a park bench and went into the venue around 4.30pm.

Hightlights of the set were Atlantic City and the River. As I was walking back from the toilet at one stage I hear the opening like "well they blew up the chicken man in philly last night' and just got so excited and sprinted back to my position, just couldn't contain my excitment.

Pretty much drove straight out without delay and was home by 11.30 which included a stop at Calder Park Macca's. Don't like Gudinski much but the guy runs a slick ship.

I'm pretty sure when this was filmed he was still married. It was this tour that Patti and Bruce fell in love. The chemistry is all there to see in this clip.

Oh yeh, I remember when this came out, there was a massive stink about it as they had just broken up.

In the 'Bruce' by Peter Ames Carlin the obvious is stated again about this video.

20 years on...proof is in the pudding hey..

FWIW, must have been real romantic with Jimmy last night....

i have seen a you tube of this song from around the same time when the song finishes he gets his sponge full of water unzips his pants and squeezes it down the front of his pants.

haha, it was tough making the decision to go. I was waiting for a 'so so' period in the gig but that didn't come so I bolted to the loo as quickly as i could. Being in the Lawn GA made that pretty easy, would have been near impossible in the front GA
