BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN & THE E STREET BAND NEW AUSTRALIAN SHOWS TO BE ANNOUNCED

Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band’s return to Australia is one of the most anticipated tours of the summer. In response to the overwhelming success of ticket sales The Frontier Touring Company is in discussions about adding additional shows. While the locations and dates of these shows are yet to be finalised it is strongly recommended that fans wait for the announcement of these shows, rather than risk buying from scalpers.

Chairman of Frontier Touring, Michael Gudinski said; “The demand for additional shows is absolutely massive and we’re currently in talks with management to determine where it is possible for additional shows to be added in the run. I’m confident that a lot of the markets will secure another show, although at this point I’m unable to confirm if all markets will. There are numerous logistics and availabilities that need to be factored in, but we hope to have this all finalised very soon.”

Michael Gudinski has warned fans to think twice before purchasing from scalpers.

“Fans should be aware that turning to scalpers is not a wise solution. I appreciate that people are concerned they may have missed out on tickets but aside from the sheer cost of some of these tickets, the dangers of purchasing from an unauthorised outlet are considerable and I cannot tell you how many stories I’ve heard of fans being badly burnt by scalpers.

“When you buy tickets from scalpers, often at greatly inflated prices, there is absolutely no guarantee that you are purchasing a legitimate ticket. Some of these sites can look quite official but unless you’re buying from the official outlets of Ticketek or Ticketmaster on this tour, you’re playing with fire.

“There have been countless incidents where fans have not received the tickets they’ve paid for or in some cases have bought tickets that they’ve discovered to be fakes on the night. There is unfortunately nothing we can do for these people – they’ve chosen to spend a huge amount of money on something that they have no proof is real. Don’t be duped by these unscrupulous sellers. Buy legitimate tickets and have peace of mind that what you have is going to get you in the door on the night.”

Well that's ****ing awesome advice isn't it ^?

Put some more shows on **** wit when you negotiate the tour.

And does that mean we miss out on a potential Melb 3rd show...its okay to risk our cash on scalpers. What logic that is...

Very unhappy Melbourne fan.

Grrr...well if anyone knows of someone who has/doesn't want their ticket to either of the two Melb shows PM me. Not interested in standing, has to be a seat please.

There's still D Reserve seats left.

And there were seats left for Melbourne 2 for a loooooong time (relatively) after it was announced...

Ok so I went to the Dicketek site and its telling me that there are $227 Front Standing tickets available.

Anyone else doing the Front Standing here?

It is worth a shot?

How did the R Laver front work in March?

My main worry is if Melb cops a 40 degree day...long time to be standing about.

Or do I wait for a 3rd Melb show...that might not happen?

I'd wager a 3rd Melbourne show won't happen. Not enough time.

I was standing at Rod Laver. Walked in 10 minutes before scheduled start time and I was towards the back of the pit but was still amazingly close. The one at AAMI Park will be bigger, and there's support acts, but you'll still have the time of your life.

I was on the second tier above the floor at RLaver and loved how he moved about the floor and up the back and was in a way kicking myself because I couldn't get to the Floor due to work commitments.

There's a reason I'm in the pit for every show bar Perth 1 and Auckland 1.

Are you there by yourself? I cant get anyone interested that I know to even by a seat let alone stand there for 4 hours or whatever.

Will be by myself. Haven't found anyone quite as insane as me to do the tour.

I'll join you in Adelaide and Melbourne. I think Cruyffy is doing Adelaide to Brisbane leg of the tour

Seats are sooooooooo shit compared to GA standing. Anyone who buys a seated ticket when there's still pit tickets left is insane.

...awaiting a message back to see if my other option comes thru for tickets; otherwise I am in for the Pit asap tomorrow 4 Sept 16th.

I am surprised there are tickets still available.

Do you think he will have a ramp out into the crowd like Wrecking Ball?

Front zone GA for Auckland 2, that makes 2/2 for Auckland :thumbsu: It's going to be a hell of a weekend in the city of sails.

Still no further news on new shows in Australia. If I get put into a ******* queue when I log onto Ticketek and have to sit there for 25 minutes before they let me onto the site...:mad:

This is a hilariously bad post.

I was just like

Were there any queue pages coming up for the mobile site (I assume you know what I'm referring to)? Admittedly, I forgot all about the mobile site until about 12:15 on the day and by then it was no use. Oh why did I have to be so hungover :( The drops for the shows already "sold out" are coming, I keep telling myself.

Front zone for Auckland 2. Boo ya.

:thumbsu: Going to the first show as well? I am still amazed I've got in immediately for both Auckland pre-sales, almost too easy. Kiwis asleep at the wheel once again.

Seat for Auckland 1. For now at least. And agree about the NZ pre-sale, either NZ Ticketmaster's servers are amazing, or the Kiwis aren't on the ball.

The odd thing is, as well, is that two hours into the presale all of the seats are gone, but plenty of GA in both zones. Same as Melbourne 2, still heaps of standing room. Do people genuinely prefer to sit (old campaigners) or are Frontier putting far more standing tickets up for sale initially with the second shows for both cities with stadium gigs?

Melbourne 2 I'd wager it's because the standing areas there are SO much bigger than everywhere else.
