For those who went to an arena show in March - did people in the floor seats front rows stand or sit? How raised were the seats?

I have Front GA for Adelaide 1, 2 and Melbourne 1. But I also have a Row A floor seat, bang in the middle for Adelaide. Trying to guage whether to use that for Adelaide 2, or the GA, because I can't get to the venu until 7.00pm anyway. Might be nice to have a seat to sit on for the odd moment.

But if everyone is literally sitting down for the whole show, then GA it is. Let me know.
They weren't raised at all at Rod Laver.

I had photos of Brisbane Entertainment Centre being set up, on my old phone, but I lost them when I cracked the screen. I snuck in the day before to have a look at how big the pit was. The security guy saw me about 10 minutes after I had been standing there and asked me how I got and when I explained I'd had come from SA and just wanted to look at the set up up he was pretty cool and let me take a few more photos.

Anyway, what they do is put a shit load of say 3m x 1m type platforms together to build up the floor area. These are about 2 feet high maybe 2.5 feet high. You then have the chairs which are about 2 feet high from floor to seat. So then when you sit down your eye level is at about 6.5 to 7 feet above the stadium floor which the people in the pit area are standing on. That's why you can sit down and see over the people in the pit because you have to look up slightly to look at the stage.

The walkway/barrier between Pit and section A that Bruce walks along, is probably 4 feet high. So when Bruce did his walk the people in the front rows of section A would stand up to touch him and they would be touching his chest/stomach area.

The second Sydney show I had a seat high on the left and it looked like people on the floor section stood up for half the time. The further back you went the longer those people seemed to stand.

I was in Section A row S at Hanging Rock and I like most people around me stood up for all of the show.

love the guitaring on adam raised a cain.
so aggressive and passionate. can someone bring up some cracking live versions of this?
I still remember the feeling of the opening of Hanging Rock 2. Huge bass/guitar noodling, straight in to Adam Raised A Cain.

Nearly shat my jeans.

PJ Crows, describe the feeling being right up front? I'll be at my first BS show next year at Perth Arena
I wasn't "right up front" for Hanging Rock. About 5 people deep. But didn't matter. Been up front for plenty of gigs though.

The thing that hit me most with Bruce was the pure power. It's obviously a huge band behind him but the energy emanating from him was a wall of power. The sound is like something I've never seen.

It was so perfect that I hate comparing to other gigs, but it's probably the single best show I've ever seen. Pearl Jam's 2006 Australian tour was the best run of shows I've had the pleasure to witness though.

Can't wait to catch three Bruce shows in February.
