There are rock stars, and then there's Bruce Springsteen. Which is why we're very excited to announce The Boss has a brand new album coming out!
It's called High Hopes, it's out January 17, and finds rock's evangelical master doing what he does best - experimenting with different musical styles, while keeping things very "Bruce sounding".

and this video clip went up on his Vevo site earlier this morning. They cut studio footage to his E Street Radio on Sirus interview from the other day.

The Boss and band were on Jimmy Falloon today about mid day our time. He will be on the comedy channel tonight 11-30pm EST/11 CST/9-30 WST.

**** that version of JLFW he did on Jimmy Fallon was brilliant. The "gear" change at the 2 minute mark when the horn section kicks in is bloody fantastic. Max on the drums is mighty, mighty Max. Max is hitting the skins like he is 22 not 62.

I can see this being one of the highlights of the show. I wonder if Chris Bailey still lives in Brisbane or in Oz. Last report he was in the UK.

No Stevie but Patti played. Does that mean Patti is coming down under??
 
The punch on JLFW on Fallon's show is pretty much what I remember from the Brisbane 1 show. So much more than on the album version.

Not that much. I reckon the size of the stage cramped them a bit - probably all bar Max, Charlie and Roy - especially for HH and JLFW.

Do you know if Patti is coming down under? Stevie is filming Lillyhamer so will he make the South Africa and/or Oz shows?

Listen to last year's and then listen to the Fallon recording, sounded considerably slower as soon as I heard it IMO.

Steve definitely is, I am unsure on Patti. Would be good if she did.

I agree the first minute or so is slower but once the horns punch in its not that much difference.

Oh I mean during the gig. I was also being slightly sarcastic owing to the fact that this heat is insane.
 
The 3 songs with the band and the BTR/Christie parody is on the Boss' home page if you have got the message on Fallon's website that the video's not available in your area.
 
JB in Wellington flat out refused to sell me the album yesterday (against true JB spirit, surely), and today I'll be in a town that doesn't have a single record store. High Hopes-less :(

Shit those clips are good. The anticipation is growing for me.
