On the 1st in Joh'burg he is playing at Soccer City Stadium now named after a bank FNB Stadium.

It seats 95,000. U2 played there to a full house but most other concerts have been to about 65,000. The 2010 World Cup final was there and Nelson Mandela's memorial mass when 100 world leaders turned up in December but only half full in the pouring rain.

My poor brother has been absolutely shafted by his work and has had annual leave application rejected and now can't make the trek across the border with us. I would be so, so pissed off. Anyway, he's now stuck with a ticket. Message me if you know of anyone who can help out. Cheers

Yep - the direct MP3/Flac downloads are a way better/cheaper way to go.

2nd encore of 2nd show. All 3 shows the 2nd encore has been Bruce solo acoustic, Thunder Road, This Hard Land and Thunder Road again. The band can't keep up with the old guy.

Back on page 179 I said - Hopefully Nelson will still be around to see the Boss and Little Stevie have finally made it to South Africa. He wont go to the show, but he might get a visit from the band. Unfortunately Nelson didn't make to 2014 - but they belted out Sun City in the 3rd show.
