Jole Blon is by Harry Choates - He did a sign request in Glasgow last year. He played it 19 times in 1981, 4 times in 1982, once in 1993 and this is the 7th time this decade. The words are after Youtube video. Its an easy sing along song

Jole Blon, you're my flower
You're my darling, you're my sunshine
I love you, I adore you
I promise to be true

Over here in the shadows
I will be waiting, I will
When I hear you're voice I rejoice
I save my love for you

Sha la la, sha la la
Sha la la, sha la la
Sha la la, sha la la
Sha la la, sha la la

Jole Blon, you're an angel
Can I tell you how I love you?
In the spring I swear we will be married
I'm waiting still for you

When your hair turns to silver
I will still call you my flower
Jole Blon I'll still love you
I'll save my love for you

Sha la la, sha la la
Sha la la, sha la la
Sha la la, sha la la
Sha la la, sha la la

We will go away from this city
We will go back girl, to our home
I swear some day I will take you
'Cause so far away we have roamed

And the bells they will ring
From the mountain to the valley
On the banks of the river
There you will be my bride

Sha la la, sha la la
Sha la la, sha la la
Sha la la, sha la la
Sha la la, sha la la

Sha la la, sha la la
Sha la la, sha la la
Sha la la, sha la la
Sha la la, sha la la

**** BITUSA whole album. I thought only the Europeans and Yanks got that. Maybe he figured there would be a lot of casual fans and tomorrow still has a lot of tickets to sell so the hits album might help sales.
What are you thinking for tomorrow then Russ?

I having no clue & I am going to be there....it was so hard to get Melb 1 tix for me at the time due to medical issues; a bit spewy now....

I don't think he will so an album show again. The River would be ******* huge? I guess High Hopes might be a chance. But who knows.

I quoted from this article a couple of pages back but I will quote it again.

Bruce Springsteen to play 100th song on tour in Melbourne

If there’s one thing certain about the concerts there is nothing certain about what Springsteen will play.

“We’ve got a new record, so we’re gonna bust that out. I don’t have any approach to it except to keep changing it up, you know,” he said before his first Australian show in Perth.

“I have to assume on any given night ... there is gonna be a moment when I will surprise you. That’s what I do. You will get a broad expanse of the depth and breadth of what we have done over the years.”

It had on the AAMI Farce page that it was going to be over at 10.30pm.

They may go later tonight...Sunday night prolly not.

The residents of E Melb get the shits up a bit about the events down that part of town...

...well I am off to bed.

Leaving at 6am to get to AAMI at around 8am....who knows what the day holds...

As long as I get a Cap Cruyff14 and ManWithNoName I will be happy...and if I am the only one in the Pit with one on come over and say 'hello Gasometer...we finally meet!'
