Stevie co wrote Ride the Night Away with Steve Jordan sho if you look at 2 or 3 of Bruce's albums has a vocals credit on them.

He got out on stage with Jimmy Barnes at Auckland 2 and did a version closer to how he originally wrote it.

Yeah gotta get my hands on that. I only have the 18 tracks CD and various songs for the 56 song version on mp3 files.

The more you write about, and show videos of Lost in the Flood Cruyffy ... the more I learn to appreciate the fantastic lyrics and melody of this song.

I won't loathe it, just might not read as closely as I did the first one and even the second one. Law of diminishing marginal returns/utility might kick in.

Does anyone know where I can find it?

It only occurred to me cleaning up my desktop when I came across the Saturday night...but never went back to look for the Sunday night show...the one I went to!

Been listening to 41 Shots a fair bit lately. Amazing song. Is it the angriest song Bruce has done? Listening to live versions, the solo (even though it's Tom) and the lyrics and the way Bruce sings them is just full of absolute anger.

Adam is angrier IMO.

Do agree it is a great song though.
 
Here's how 41 Shots should be done live.

A photo of Amadou Diallo on the screen. During the instrumental outro that goes a few minutes, between when it starts and when Bruce starts "get killed just for living", the numbers start counting over the photo. 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. The photo fading more with each number. Right up to 41 over a black screen. Just so it sinks in how unthinkable 41 shots really is.

No need for a cheque Bruce Inc. You can have that one for free.
